Notch, Minecraft is a great game, and your doing absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to see what its like once it's finished! I've been thinking though... Minecraft would be awesome with public servers. Ya know, some online servers where anyone can play, instead of having to have a URL. I really do think this is a great idea, and I'm sure people would really enjoy it. Once one of the servers gets boring to the players, or there's no room left to build anything, you could erase it and start a new one. Please take this into consideration, and to anyone else who reads this, give me feedback! I'd love to know what others think of this idea!

I think he means he wants a sort of list with a bunch of servers accessible in game (like in classic mp). Servers would require people to actually sign up in order to get building rights but they could walk around beforehand. Basically a list of servers I guess.

Yep, just like said in his avatar, "Creepers Gonna Creep." Just change it to "Griefers Gonna Grief."
You won't be able to have one server without a griefer coming in destroying peoples houses and what not. Just cause I'm bored, here's a list of things that griefers might do:

Steal your resources (chests/ random diamond blocks you felt like putting outside of your house)
Destroy Houses
Dig under houses
Patch up your house doorway
Place signs saying "YOU GOT GRIEFED HOYT MCCOY!!111!"
Draw swastikas with wool
Draw pen0rs with wool
Dig under bricks people are standing on (lawl)
Place Obsidian around people so they can't escape (lawl if they don't have a diamond pick)
Spam Chat
Abuse mods/children
HACK - Fly hack, speedhack, xray hack
Run around people and continuously jump
eat porkchops that are raw
repeatedly try to blow people up with TNT
stop using capital letters in the first letter of a list of suggestions of things a griefer might do. (O_o)
Find Herobrine and expose it to the pubic - i mean public
