Hi, I wanna reverse redstone so that a redstone torch will turn on when it recieves power, not off. Is this possible?

Thanks.

No, not directly.  It sounds like you want to make the equivalent of an RS-NOR logic gate, where it receives power one time and outputs power constantly until it is reset.  Check the wiki and google it; there are numerous examples scattered around.

just power the torch with a torch...
Double invert!

Now these points of data make a beautiful line...

And you'd basically get a repeater, which I'm not sure is what he wants.

Possibly, but he might just want a light that turns off when it's powered.

The RSNor Guy is overcomplexing it.

All you need to do is attack a doubleinverter to it.

Yeah I suppose that is possible.  The description is pretty vague as to what precisely he's doing.

What I want to do is make a redstone torch that is off and when it recieves power from a pressure plate it will switch on like an alert that something is on the pressure plate.
