These problems usually can be solved by updating the graphic drivers. The methods are shown below
Updating Graphic Drivers
Updating Graphic Drivers on Windows
1. Go to Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager
2. Look for the display adapter
3. Click on the display adapter and select "Update Driver"
Updating Graphic Drivers on Mac
On the Mac Operating System (Or Mac OSX), the drivers can be updated by updating to a newer version of the Operating System.
1. Click the Apple Logo in the corner of the screen and select "About this Mac" 2. Click the More Info button in the "About the Mac" dialog
If you are on Mac OSX 10.6 or below...
- Scroll down to the section "Graphics / Displays" on the left hand side of System Profiler
If you are on Mac OSX 10.7 or above...
- Click the System Report button - Scroll down to the section "Graphics / Displays" on the left hand side of System Profiler
This would tell you the Graphics Card that you are currently running. To update it, you go back to the Apple Icon and click "Software Update" if there is a software update to a newer OSX version, the graphics driver should be included in the update. Run the update and it should be fine.
Updating Graphic Drivers on Linux
1. Go to System > Preferences > Hardware Information 2. This tells you the Driver you currently have 3. Update your graphic drivers (Links to different driver sites are shown below in the Driver Download Sites section)
Or...
1. Click on the gear on the right top corner 2. Select "Updates Avaliable" 3. In Update Manager, click the Check button. This checks for updates, which the updates include Graphic Driver updates 4. If there is updates, install the updates and you should be good to go!
