Um, I have a slight problem (in 1.6 so I won't blame you if you won't fix it). So I took out all the monster spawning things from the config (you can call it cheating, I call it insurance), the monster apocalypse and all that, but I missed the lightning creeper under entities (this isn't the problem, just why the lightning creeper surprised me). I was playing on peaceful though, so even if the mod can still spawn hostile mobs they should disappear instantly like when you try to use a spawn egg for hostile mobs on peaceful, normally it just flickers into existence long enough to make a noise and even the noise is usually a bit clipped. This didn't though, it not only stuck around long enough to be struck by lightning, but also for it to explode, which should just not be possible. And a zombie and baby zombie spawned with it and stuck around long enough to chase me for a little while before vanishing like they were supposed to. Any idea what that's about?
I think that might be intended, because when the Lucky Block spawns non-peacfull mobs, then even if you are on peaceful it will change the difficulty to hard. I'm guessing that when you said the zombies dissapeared, you paused the game and pressed on settings. Thats the strange part, if you go into settings it will say the difficulty is on peaceful, and when you go back, the difficulty will really be on peaceful and all monsters will disappear. However, before you looked at the difficulty button, it was really on hard. This is actually a Minecraft bug, beacuse if you try changing the game mode through commands, such as /difficulty hard, it will work but it will not change the difficulty button under settings. So when you look at that button, the difficulty will be set back to what it was before. If you look again in the Lucky Block properties the line will be something like this:

Huh, ok, I guess that makes sense. The weird thing then is I didn't look at the settings, the zombies just dissapeared while I hovered out of their reach (I'm also using the superheroes unlimited mod and happened to be wearing wonderwoman armor, which probably has something to do with the creeper not annihilating me). I didn't go out of render distance and I'm pretty sure I didn't go far enough away that they would despawn from that, they were still trying to get to me and then just vanished. Anyway that's good to know if I ever decide to go back to the original config settings, thanks.
Is it an idea to put a section in the OP (in spoiler tags maybe) with a collection of SP and MP minigame ideas with lucky blocks, as a source of inspiration? I see some cool stuff on youtube, and am curious what others have thought of!
I have a slight issue with this mod. as I can't seem to use it. I have the crash log below:

How come every time I hit that skip add button it brings me to a "One Drive" page and I'm a 10 yrs old so I don't have microsoft account??? Whats up with that?
I am having some trouble with adding this to FTB Direwolf 20. I take the mod and add it into the mod folder inside the Direwolf 20 folder. But when I try to launch the game it says that there is an ID conflict. I have uploaded other mods using this same method and didn't have any problems.
I am using the 1.6.4 version as that is the FTB version. I'm a novice with all of this so any help would be appreciated.

If it's an ID conflict, then you can change ID of the Lucky Blocks and it should work. Normally, the config file is in the .minecraft/config/lucky folder, but for FTB it may be different. inside LuckyBlockProperties.txt here will be a line that says something like ID=850. You can change the 850 to 851 or something similar and see if it works.
Thanks for your help...when trying to figure this out for my son...(he's 7) he wanted to know why the hamster had the beak. Haha...so I had to teach him about the Kiwi...
For Direwolf20 i needed to change the ID to 855...and it worked. Thanks for your help.

Please help when loading
Lucky Block 5.0.0 is only for Minecraft 1.7.2, not 1.6.4.
Why each time I download the mod I get a .rar file, which when I unarchive, I get a folder <name>.jar (I don't remember the exact name). It's a normal, windows folder with .jar at the end, but it isn't a .jar file. It's name just has .jar in it. When I try to set it to always open with Java and placing it in Mods with Forge, it doesn't load.
Help, please?
I'm not quite sure what it's downloading like that, but what you could do is rename the .rar file to a .jar and put everything thats in the .jar folder (the one originally in the .rar) into the new valid .jar file.
If you remove the difficulty part, like this:
It will not change the difficulty.
Yes, sure you can
Huh, ok, I guess that makes sense.
The crash doesn't seem to show anything going wrong with the Lucky Block. It looks like there are some connection problems, are you sure your internet is working?
Yes.

I am using the 1.6.4 version as that is the FTB version. I'm a novice with all of this so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
TB
If it's an ID conflict, then you can change ID of the Lucky Blocks and it should work. Normally, the config file is in the .minecraft/config/lucky folder, but for FTB it may be different. inside LuckyBlockProperties.txt here will be a line that says something like ID=850. You can change the 850 to 851 or something similar and see if it works.
For Direwolf20 i needed to change the ID to 855...and it worked. Thanks for your help.

Lucky Block 5.0.0 is only for Minecraft 1.7.2, not 1.6.4.
I'm not quite sure what it's downloading like that, but what you could do is rename the .rar file to a .jar and put everything thats in the .jar folder (the one originally in the .rar) into the new valid .jar file.
or maybe like a rain~
