Portal Gun MOD Thread - viewtopic.php?f=1032&t=215961

iChun recently released the portal gun mod and it didn't feel right playing with it without a portal type map so i created this , iv only spent 1 maybe 2 hours on this so its only short .

please note iv never actually played portal so i only know parts of the actual story line to the game from escape craft and a video i watched a while ago.

i would like to do a video of this but trying to play it while recording is almost impossible with my computer i barely get 2fps if someone likes this enough to make a video of it that would be great.

do not attempt to use this map without the mod , it will just crash minecraft if you try to load up the map.

i intend to make a much longer version in the future if this one gets a good response from you guys

i have all the required mods but the map just crashes when i load it. i have both the required mods that go with the portal mod, and my TFC ModManager says theirs no conflicting files...

whoops! i looked in the .jar and found the place in resources and place in jar folders! thats not right!    Could you please make a TFC ModManager version? im not sure if it will be possible since theres also stuff for resources...

but i fixed it!

Please remove the stuff from the map that depends on the mod. I don't want to install the mod (cause it'll butt fuck my other mods), but I have a really cool idea with the map.

Creds will be given greatly.

For having one blue and one orange; that way instead of pressing G you can just scroll. A good idea IMO.

A nice little map. And demonstrates the potential this mod has for themed-maps.

I liked the pressure-plate on TNT trick, that was very clever.

portal mod was recently updated. it now crashes this map because of new ids. you think you could update it? maybe even add some more content

Remove anything that requires the mod for it. If there's an update and an item ID or block ID changes, it'd just crash, and is there for, useless.

Nothing stopping you supplying the items to make in a chest though.

I used the map WITH the mod and the game crashes. Yours is the only map that does this.

Whenever I play a map, the MOMENT Im meant to see the portal gun (If in a chest, or in my inventory), the game crashes.  I have the audiomod, modloader, portalgun mod downloaded correctly.
