Operating system: Some problems can be caused by your operating system, certain parts of the game may not be compatible or need different configurations/setups.

Browser: Some browsers handle Java differently, they can cause the game to act 'funny' and not how it should do. It can also be helpful if you try the site in another browser, does the same issue occur?

Type of internet connection: If you find yourself constantly suffering from lag or being kicked it could be down to the speed of your connection, your results from <!-- m -->http://speedtest.net<!-- m --> would be helpful!

How did it happen: It's a broad question, but this can often help you and us to solve your problem. If you performed an action before the problem occurred or something changed with your setup, this will help is work towards diagnosing the exact cause.

Is java up to date? Simple question, are you running the latest version of java? If not, update! This won't necessarily solve the problem but it could, worth a try!

Have you installed any mods? With mods for minecraft being so popular, they are a constant source of technical issues. Before posting your thread, test whether the game will run without any mods, and always list any mods that you have installed when asking for support. Keep in mind that installing multiple mods may cause conflicts, causing the game to stop working correctly. Always use up-to-date mods and always follow the install instructions correctly.

Type some words related to your question into the search bar:



When you're done, press the 'Search' button, which is circled in red above. You could press enter instead; it works just like Google!



Don't be scared off! These are the results of your search. Look how relevant they are!
Now, click on one of the thread titles to go there, or just read the threads from here.
