Hi!
I'm currently browsing for a good laptop that can play minecraft at decent FPS, I will be using optifine to boost that FPS too. I found one but I posted a topic and people say it's no good. My budget is $600, I don't think I can stretch higher than that. I don't have much knowledge about AMD CPUs and proccesors, I am more familiar with Intel, and
So I would prefer intel But it doesn't really matter ill just search up some stuff about AMD, learn about it too...
You don't have to put much in your reply, I don't want to waste your time just the link and if you want a couple details! (Please don talk about desktops, I need a laptop)
With only $600, I suggest building a desktop PC. Laptops are more expensive. Only buy one if you really need to for some reason.
I agree with this, but..
I had a Lenovo G560 Laptop, and I had easily 260+ fps on it.
I've never used Optifine, or any other mods on my client, other than Misa's Realistic Texture pack.
The Lenovo G560 was $499, but I believe it may have dropped in price since then, because that was in 2011.
Hey. If you're going to use on in school i'd recommend one w/o much bulk. You would probably want one with a dedicated graphics card and a Intel i5+. And 4+ gb. of ram.
Hmmm...Using a 8 GB-48 GB laptop (intel core i5-i7)would make a difference, again it depends but ANY 8 GB processors will do it.
How is the processor ( CPU ) and the RAM in a computer related in the way you say? They are completely separate things and for web browsing and Minecraft an AMD APU laptop with 4GB of RAM is adequate. Also, what laptop has 48GB of RAM? The most I have heard of in a top of the line laptop from Sager was 32 GB (4x 8 GB ). For most users 4 GB is plenty and for gaming 8 GB is recommended. Anything over you are either editing video, have several RAM intensive programs open at one, or are wasting money.
You should i buy dell latitude laptop(A pc would be better)its ofeers a good amount of fps its would be around 450 euros in europe and it would be worth it
No, Dell laptops are notorious for having overheating problems and poor build quality.

FPS over 60 doesn't matter as your laptop screen will only be able to display 60Hz ( Or 60 FPS ), anything over this has the chance to cause screen tearing and puts more load on your computer then needed. Use VSYNC to limit your FPS to your monitors refresh rate. And the hardware in that laptop would now be borderline outdated with how quickly technology advances, not to mention it has been discontinued.

What the hell is an 8 GB processor? Feel free to enlighten me. Also, how would you have 48 GB on a laptop? That requires either 12 GB sticks, or a hexa-channel memory interface.
i want a laptop because i will need one for school in 1 or 2 years....
so id prefer it be a laptop...
Yeah, then thats a problem, if you need one for school, and it has to be a laptop, then you need a laptop, minecraft still runs and all on laptops, but usually only at 10-(rarely)40 FPS. So Desktop PC's are preferable, but obviously, they aren't an option for you.

You can't just say how a game will run on all laptops. Most laptops can rune Minecraft fine. I have no idea where you get "10-40 fps only" from.
When people act in a retarded manner I have to call them out.
Maybe instead of wasting my time you should make some recommendations.
How am I wasting your time? You're not even the one who asked for help.
P.S.
1) You're "specialized" in PCs
2) You still didn't answer the OP's question
Maybe you should start making recommendations instead of "calling out" everyone.

Here's your recommendation:
I'm no good at suggesting PCs nor laptops, but I can recommend to use the search bar as there's tons of other similar topics

You'd get more replies/builds. I suggest a Desktop PC. In general it's better than laptops, but also there are some laptops that can top some PCs.

Those requirements are completely useless and in addition your post could even be classified as spam as it contributes more or less nothing.
Yeah, that's descriptive. In addition, Acers have horrendous build quality.

That makes no sense. The Latitude IS a PC. You listed a manufacturer and brand, and then go on to list a price and assumed performance, [i]without even giving a model number.
That statement is so vague it's useless.
don't click this link...

Instead of criticizing everybody you could stick to the OP and give him a "decent" answer yourself. I was trying to help him like the rest of us.

Huh. You seem new here.
NEVER use old topics for new recommendations as prices constantly change and new technology comes out.
You "want" me to give a recommendation? Here you go.
The Lenovo G505s is the same price and has dual graphics.
