You should make it so you hold bows in your left hand because if Steve is right handed then he would hold a bow in his left hand.
I really can't think of a clean way of doing that that would not require me to basically rip out and re-write massive sections of the player renderer and player model (I have thought about this a lot)

Really excited to see this back! I used it all the time back in 1.2.5 so being able to use it again
for 1.6 is quite amazing!
There seems to be one nasty bug in both releases though, it seems that whenever you die in SSP, everything in your inventory (except things in the battle mode bars) seems to delete itself rather than throw it on the ground like normal. At first I thought it was simply mods conflicting with each other
(as I run multiple mods), but I tested it a couple of times with only Battlegear 2 installed and it
still deletes the entire inventory except for whatever's in the battlemode bars.
Has anyone else been experiencing this or am I just not doing something right with the installation?
Hmm, strange thing is, the code has the call to throw out all the other items. I will investigate this (priority 1)

nerd-boy?Is that you?I haven't seen this mod in ages! Are you sure you aren't hacked?
Yeah, This is now under a "general" account so all modders who are contributing can edit the post

Thanks for the help.
The only mods/API I have are
1. Forge 184.108.40.2067
2. Optifine HD B4
That's honestly, all I downloaded.
The "Unstable" build of forge seems to be the issue. Downgrade to the "Recomended" build (804). Forge is changing up some of the coremod stuff in the latest builds.

Nice to see the new thread going along!
Even though it still is in alpha the mod already plays incredibly well.
However, there are some issues:
I thought I accounted for problem 1, problem 2I don't think I can address.

Your ASMs seem to be causing problems with the IC2 experimental builds, that could be a problem...
Thell the author to access the current item using the getStackInSlot(inventoy.currentItem) / setStackInSlot(inventory.currentItem, stack) methods rather than directly accessing the main inventory array.
