Love the texture pack, very nice. One of the best ones I've seen.

Thought that i might as well do a little update since the thread almost constantly gets a bump on the frontpage anyway :D
The necessity of color changes is arguable and i feel like I'm more and more taking away everything that even slightly distinguished my texture pack among thousands of other realistic texture packs, but i felt like those changes had to be done sooner or later.

This pack appears to be broken with the latest update.

Even if you copy the files back over again into the jar file? That should work....

I love your texture pack. Even with 256x256 pixels, it looks great. I will continue to use it, and I like the whole color scheme.

I recently decided to try out this texture pack, but I've been all out of luck so far. I've used IZArc to access minecraft.jar and installed the texture pack, but every time I do and try to run Minecraft, it freezes on the loading bar, displaying the message "done loading". It runs fine when I revert to my original minecraft.jar

I updated to the latest Java runtime environment, but I'm still getting the issue, so I'm at a complete loss.

EDIT: I suppose I'll get my hands on WinRar and see if it's IZArc that's causing the problem.

EDIT #2: That was the problem! I guess IZArc isn't a big fan of .jar archives or something. >_>

Very, very nice Texture pack, to the point of when I had to download the new Launcher I re-downloaded the pack. Absolutely great. I'd be interested to see if you do anything with the mobs, paintings, or the assorted items.

With this texture pack, the water doesn't flow like it does with the originals. I've never downloaded a texture pack before so don't know if it's just for this one or for all of them. Anyone know?

Its a problem with oversized texture packs.

Hi I just wanted to post the lower res version of this terrain file...

I really like it, but I use bricks. And i Like animated Lava and Water.

So This version is the same resolution as the default, however it has no bugs or errors.

I combined this with a few others things, and still have the better looking Sun and moon and some cool art.

But I will just post the terrain file for you guys.

So if the texture map is too big then it does not animate water and lava? If I transfer this new you posted into my Minecraft.jar it will animate them yes?

Something seems different since the update, I don't know if the textures were changed but there seems to be less brown... Here's a screenshot, I apologize for the large image size

Cobblestone also appears to be half way between the default and half this texture pack, and another screenshot.

I'm not sure if it's just my eyesight or something with the update, hopeful this helps either way

How did you recolor the water/lava? When I do it at the normal size, it does nothing.

IMO this is better than the original Minecraft textures. And for some reason it reduces lag on my computer (I use a laptop if you're wondering)
If there was a rating system for skins I would give this pack a 10/10, it looks AWESOME, works really well, and reduces my lag for some stupid reason.
WHAT THE HELL IS HOMESTUCK
IS THIS SOME KIND OF SECRET I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT

You single handedly sold one more copy of Minecraft! Thankyou so much. I am tempted to try the 256x version when I get home. I never use bricks (they're too red for my liking anyway) but animated water/lava sounds good. Damn awesome in 512x but!
