Just thought I'd share my 512x512 terrain reskin I've been working on for some time now. The main motivation behind this was that i didn't really liked any of already existing realistic packs. Some of them were too dark, other too low in resolution so i just kept tweaking them endlessly, and at some point i realised that it'd be simply quicker to start doing something from the scratch. So here it is, my B&B reskin, because i couldn't find a better name for it :grass:

Hope you'll enjoy it!

Well so far I am liking it, my only complaint thus far is that plank doesn't tile too well both ways, it looks like long planks oput together, rather than tiles. I don't know if this is the effect you went for or not though :)

Hey you're the same guy who made that Asplod McGunpowders comic, aren't you. Also, gotta love VGCats.

This looks fairly nice, good work and good luck on completing it.

It's a shame we can't add Infiniminer-style bloom to the game.

I really like this texture pack, its a pity the Gold blocks and Brick blocks have animated fire on them...

I took terrain.png and resized it to 256x256... not as good looking but it fixed all the animations and no more fire on blocks... I would love to see a fix for the terrain on this.

One of the better texture packs in my opinion, keep up the good work :cobblestone: you're textures go seamlessly together for the most part, which is more than I can say for other texture packs.
My one quirk, if any, is that the ore textures seem a bit intense, they kind of stand out too much; maybe tone them down a little?

I love this texture, it's awesome, and the first big texture I've ever used. Only complaint is smooth stone is a little too green, but I can easily fix that one myself. I only wish the Jukebox had it's own texture instead of being just a blurry original Jukebox.

Uh, only thing is my bricks have that fire texture on them. I never use bricks so that isn't much of a problem, but can anyone tell me how to fix that? I never payed attention to any fixes if there ever were any because I never used a big texture pack before.

I'm a bit of a fan on depressing texture packs, this is nice.

Thanks to everyone! -_-

hidden03: No, those seems to be a common set of bugs for all 512x512 packs, there's nothing i can do about it at the time.

Jamimi: I wouldn't call it depressing... Or at least that's not what i was aiming for.

negorath: The color balance on my laptop screen is a bit off, so i didn't noticed that until i played with those textures on a normal monitor. I already doing this, it will be in the next update.

gordenfreechmen: Yeah, that's me :D

Hi-Res texture packs don't suit Minecraft, imo. You did a wonderful job, though. Just...wrong game, haha.
