Would you look at that, a new version! Don't expect me to always keep this mod up-to-date, however.
A.K.A. The Mod Formerly Known as "Enhanced /Give." I've "enhanced" more commands, hence the new title.
Enhancements to /give:
Allows more than 64 of an item to be given at a time, divided into stacks of 64. (For example, giving 512 gives eight stacks of 64.)
Puts the items directly in the target player's inventory. If the player's inventory is full, it shoots out of the player's face like it normally does.
Allows you to use "ID aliases" instead of block and item IDs. Details below.
For instance, consider the following command:
/give player 35 100 14
This command would give Player two stacks (64 and 36) of red wool.
You can also use "ID aliases," which allow you to give blocks and items using their names, which are located in a text file. The file, aliases.txt, should be placed in the same folder as minecraft_server.jar and server.properties. The file's format is as follows:
<id[:meta]>=<alias>
is the block or item ID, [:meta] is optional metadata information and is the case insensitive name you want to use. Each line is a different alias. One ID can have multiple aliases, but one alias can't point to multiple IDs. The following are some sample aliases:
3=dirt
35:14=red wool
276=diamond sword
So instead of the earlier /give command, you could use the following to produce the same effect:
/give player red wool 100
I've made a complete list of blocks and items, along with their common alternate names, which is available as a seperate download below.
Enhancements to /time:
Added /time get, which displays the current time.
Enhancements to /tp:
In addition to player-to-player teleportation, players can be teleported to specific coordinates now.
For instance, all three of the following commands are valid:
***Note that teleporting to random coordinates is highly discouraged. Teleporting below ground will kill you, and teleporting too high will also kill you.
There is only one modified file, un.class (kv.class in the beta versions), and you can download it here for server version 1.2.5. Open minecraft_server.jar, pop it in there, and you're set!
I just imported the ki.class file into my minecraft_server.jar, but couldn't get the new /give functionality to work on either Linux or Windows servers. Is there something that needs to be done on the client-side?
e: I take it back, I was just failing to actually get it added into the .jar. It works now, and is great!! Thanks for sharing the mod.
Thank you very much for making this mod. It makes the vanilla server actually worth using, and using it with toomanyitems makes it even better :smile.gif:.
post up a ReadMe would be beneficial to both you the author of the mod and potential users.
alot more people would understand how to use the mod so they will download it more and get your mod even more recognized.
readme specific instructions on how to "just pop it into the minecraft_server.jar".
i cant seem to get it working either, right-cliking open-with Notepad on minecraft_server.jar doesnt work.
do i need to decompile minecraft_server.jar to add this?

4. Click yes to confirm copying kv.class into the jar file.

How do I install it without the .jar?
Unfortunately, you cannot mod the .exe version. You'll have to run it via the .jar.
Don't spawn too much. The floating blocks lag up clients to all hell.
