@Lord_Dust_Bunny: Your icon in the thread still shows up as a dragon for me (cache maybe?). When I visit your page though, it shows up the Umbreon one! It's so pretty, I love it! Eevee family ftw!
I personally love the hint of a backstory in custom maps. The University was my favorite area on SpellBound Caves; it was awesome to see all those signs and that Nether portal, it gave off that intense feeling of "someone went really wrong here at some point", I could almost imagine the whole scene in my mind.
It's not like if that's mandatory for me to enjoy the area, of course. Lots of Legendary areas lacks any in-game backstory and I'm enjoying the map all the same. =3
Edit: Rosie just notices that she's currently playing three different SH maps at once.

Verily, I tell thee, that is a depiction of an adorable Cabbit, not a pokey mans. >__>
Vechs, would you like to join Z_Bill, Sock, Hybran, Michael, and many other map makers including myself on a small survival/legit server? Just PM me if you are interested (:

Now that I think about it, you will probably really like my two upcoming commissioned CTM maps. They're both story-based. The first is Waking Up, and a preview build of that map has already been released, but that is not the final version of the map -- it only has a mini-monument, not a full monument.
The second is also story driven, but I can't say anything about it because of my privacy clause in my commission contract. But it's going to be quite awesome!
Oh yeah, that also means that work on Inferno Mines is paused while I work on both these commission maps.
So does that mean that all progress on Inferno Mines, Black Desert II, Canopy Carnage II, Fallen Kingdom, and any other "genuine" Super Hostile maps is stalled? (By genuine I mean a non-commision, non-experimental map that is part of the standard Super Hostile series) Because if so, I personally am completely losing hope in this series. I completely understand your reasons, and I truly love everything that you have done with this series. This series has consistently renewed my interest in Minecraft for over the past year. But recently it seems like everything is changing.
I remember this same exact time last summer. Your maps were being released with just enough time between them for me to casually finish one and move right on to another. There was a consistent flow of high-quality, genuine Super Hostile Maps.
Now it has been many months since there has been a "genuine" Super Hostile Maps. Spellbound Caves was amazing, and I enjoyed both playing it and watching your developer commentary. In that commentary I remember you displaying your idea for Fallen Kingdom, and you would not believe how excited I was. That did (and still does) sound like the best Minecraft map I could ever play. I understand how much work a map like this would need, and this explains why it was made a side project. It seems like both Black Desert II and Canopy Carnage II have also been completely halted to allow other new, creative maps to be worked on. Again I completely understand this. Every update about Inferno Mines looks promising and amazing, but yet again another wonderful map is stalled.
In nearly the last 6 months all you have released is Lethamyr, Gift, and a beta version of Waking Up (No "Genuine" Super Hostile Maps). I understand that some or even many people may like these maps, but that just seems like way too long of a time to go without releasing any "genuine" Super Hostile Maps. You can easily tell that Lethamyr was an experimental project without much effort put into it (as you have stated), and I personally cannot engrose myself into the commision maps like I can with your other Minecraft maps.
All I am asking is that you continue progress on your normal maps with the commision projects, and actually complete one of your many genuine Super Hostile maps. I am not trying to sound angry or upset in this post, but as a long time fan (from the release of Kaizo Caverns) I am just losing hope in the series that saved Minecraft for me and countless other people.

Im not supposed to read all of that,am I!?
But also If the Super hostile Maps are being halted then there a plenty of other things for you to do, why don't you play all the maps prior to 1.8 on 1.7 by Backdating! I did that, its so much not as good combat, there is no blocking no sprinting and no nice warm lighting but at least you can expirence them all on 1.7!

I'll stop posting off topicness now. |D
Better than too much hentai. If you watched too much hentai, you could see where I'm going with this.

Oh, I love cabbits, I'd like to hug all of them if I could.<3 The teary face was for the fact that my eevee didn't resemble an eevee. |D

If you want. The important parts are the first paragraph, bolded sentence, and final paragraph.
