Magical Bone Sticks
(As seen on the Yogscast)
Download (Don't forget Modloader!)
Magical Bone Sticks is a mod I whipped up when I really couldn't figure out what mod to make next, so i thought to myself: "To hell with it, I'll make a generic magic stick mod," and so I did. In the latest update it now includes achievements.
Facts about the sticks
- The sticks may be Over/Under Powered but I will probably tweak that more later.
- They each have a primary attack and a secondary fire
- 2 of them have passive abilitys.
- They may be easy to abuse, but I am working on that/
The Sticks
To craft the sticks you need to make a gilded bone(s) first:

(Gilded Bone made by Rhodox)
Bam Stick - Explosions! Explosions everywhere!
Total number of uses: 8
Primary Ability: Explode the enemy you are attacking (variable explosion size). Takes 1 use.
Secondary Ability: Area explode. Takes 2 uses.
Passive Ability: None except if you count immunity from the explosions it causes.

Jump Stick - Jump, it doesn't hurt... much.
Total number of uses: 64
Primary Ability: Launch enemies high up in the air. Takes 2 uses
Secondary Ability: Jump! To use this you just have to look directly down at the ground and right click (You can be 15 degrees off so you can use this fro wall jumping!) Takes 1 Use
Passive Ability: No damage from falls (be careful if the stick runs out while you are jumping up a high mountain/building with a sheer drop below you!)

Lightning Stick - Pretty generic right now, but LIGHTNING!
Total number if uses: 8
Primary ability: Electrify! Brings lightning down on the enemy you are attacking! Takes 1 use
Secondary Ability: Area Lightning! Glitchy on pigs, turns a single pig into multiple (around 5) zombie pig men, CELL SPLITTING! Takes 3 uses
Passive Ability: Fire immunity (meant for lightning, also includes lava and normal fire).

More sticks may be coming soon, if I can think of them.

Installation
There are 2 different ways to install this mod, i will list them both here:
Way A (easiest, safest):
For this to work you must have the absolute latest Modloader.
1) Copy the zip file you downloaded to your .minecraft/mods/ directory.
2) Run the game to see if it worked
3) Done!
Way B (harder, less convenient):
(Make sure to install Modloader before this)
1) Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata%
2) Browse to .minecraft/bin
3) Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
4) Drag and drop (AKA copy) the files in the zip into the jar.
5) Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
6) Run Minecraft and enjoy!

Bone Torch
Download (Don't forget Modloader!)
3rd in the list of Bone-related mods (didn't really intend to make a whole list of them but it is what is happening :/)
This mod adds a new light emitting object to the game: Bone torch.
The Bone Torch emits a stronger light than regular torches (full sunlight level, to be exact... but does not burn mobs(yet)).
(it isn't the best looking thing)
You can craft it with a bone substituting the stick in the torch recipe:

Yes, it gives you two torches instead of 4, my feeble attempt at balancing.

Changing the Block ID (not required)
- Go into the minecraft folder (It should have folders named bin/resources/texturepacks)
- Create a folder named "mods" (without the quotation marks) if one does not already exist.
- In the mods folder make a txt file called "btorch".
- In the btorch.txt file put the data value by itself. It should not contain anything else but the data value!
- Done!
