I'm having another issue on editing a base class. I want to rewrite the Desert Well to make it useful (I mean seriously, they're quiet useless, huh?), but lateron I recognized and remembered, that it's impossible (due to the new 1.6 update) to replace or rewrite base class files. I searched the interwebs and found things about AccessTransformers and ClassTransformers, but that didn't help me out a lot.
My problem is: I have already edited the base class before I knew about those Transformers. So is there any way to replace the whole base class to make the mod work? The new class contains a new field, a new (quiet heavy) method and some edits in the generate() method.
Does anyone have an idea on how to do this? I am very close to release this mod and this is my last hurdle. I don't want to start the whole project all over again.
