V3.1 Released!!
Contributions by Audra and Seanvanpelt have helped me accomplish this.
Thanks to Eldrone for letting me use a couple sprites from Eld Pack as a basis for a couple items.

Installation
1) Download Pokecraft.zip
2) Open Texture Packs folder via Minecraft client
3) Drag Pokecraft.zip into it
4) Choose Pokecraft in Minecraft's texture pack changer
5) Enjoy!

Instead of a Tauros, you should make cows Miltank, since they give out milk and by extension, female. Also, Mareep might work better as sheep because it has more wool. Your problem with the sun texture is because of the fact that Minecraft brightens the texture greatly.

Overall it looks nice, though.

I did mean Mareep instead of Flaaffy - I'll edit it now.
For some reason, I completely forgot Miltank existed. Poor thing. Thanks for the idea.
So if I took my Solrock sprite and reduced the brightness it would look okay? Hrmm...

My inner Pokenerd is squealing in joy. This is about as close as one can get to a handheld-inspired 3D Pokemon experience. Love what you've got so far. I like your choice of mobs--the Voltorb slimes crack me up--and I agree that Miltank would be perfect for cows. Can't wait to see this as a finished release. Running this on SMP with some friends would be just awesome.

Haha thanks, it makes all the effort worhtwhile. There have been some blocks and choices I've made that have made me think "Screw this" and give up for a while.
But when i get feedback like that it makes me want to keep on doing it!
Though right now I have to be in bed as I start work at 4am
Hopefully, custom servers eventually could have predefined Texture Sets chosen by the admin!!
Having a Pokemon server would be fun, I can imagine RPer's building their own towns and gyms.

That armor man, that armor. Looking really good. I'll be adding it all into my Zelda folder when this is complete
I have a Deku Tree map ready for it all lol!!
And yeah, I plan to give the mobs the appropriate sounds!! Would make it feel more complete IMO

Not sure what to do with the Zombie, maybe a team Rocket member?

I think I actually read somthing about a spritomb being done for the creeper, but I dont think it was ever released.

Thanks, and great idea. I think all the armor types will be something.
Diamond Armor may be Metagross Armor, or something like that

I actually love Cradily. I like Rock types. Ingrain and Mega Drain, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock. OH LAWDY.

Wow, I've gotta say, both of the Pokemon packs are looking awesome and will be going in the Texture pack folder when they are done.

Wobbuffet could explode in some sort of Counter mishap I guess

Eggseccutor would be an awesome creeper, though how would you make the head with the leaves look right?

I think I'll be using Wobbuffet until I make it something better.
Today I'm going to start working on the paintings, and fixing the mob skins.

This is going to be a nuisance haha
