This is a very beautiful pack. I look forward to its completion - I will be trying it out when it's done!

I really like this x64 pack. You have the feeling beeing in a warm, creeperless world. That's awesome. Looking forword to completition, too. To be honest. I nearly can't wait ;)

But i do not like the glass. It's too much structure and less glass. I don't like that at all, so I if you want, change it, otherwise let it be.

Thanks for your comments everyone !

@GilbyJazz & @Grupsy :
The problem with bad looking normal/parallax maps is mainly the lack of texture filtering. But I'm sure there'll be an option for this when I'll start doing maps for shaders. :GoldBar:

@Spiritread :
I've totally revamped the glass texture for the next update, I've made it a wooden frame with little angles in the corners, I hope you'll like it !

WOW! I have been searching the forums for a long time to see a texture pack like this and its not even done yet! i can't wait for the finished product. My only issue is with the smoothstone (its not smooth...) but i read that you are planning to change that later so its all good :Zombie:

some of the glsl shaders available support A.A. which kinda makes filtering a moot point. Not too hard to pull off in Gimp or photoshop. working on A.A. for mine now...learning as i go. :goldore: I'm sure by the time you do yours the shaders WILL be much better, and I can't wait to see this pack with full glsl support!

Well - i don't know much about rendering or graphic, etc.
What i mean is - when i use Misa's pack with all the shaders and mods she recommends,
and then looking on a block, i can see the single pixels in different heights.

I thought, that's because of the 64px.

Anyway - if you two - Grugsy and Ovo - believe, it can be made better, then i won't disagree^^

Btw. - i like the idea of the stone block.
The most texture packs using smooth textures for stone, but for your pack style, your idea looks good.
However, it's a little bit...too many pieces^^ Forget that, the first look is always deceptive^^ It's good.
But the tiling is not perfect. Some pixels convey the impression of lines - at least in my case.

The dirt block is a little to bright for my taste.

Maybe you could add some roots or something like that on the side grass blocks (don't know the right name now^^).
Roots are great! And climbers! :P I love them in every fantasy game i play^^

Oh my god...this is wonderful! I think Misa will soon have to face a very strong opponent. Even in alpha phase, like now, this texture pack gets a 5/5 from me.

Great texture pack! Looks sooo good om my map :////:
Only waiting for it to be completed. I love textures not using straight lines. Thumbs up!

When you come to Nether blocks (netherrack, sand, glow.) I hope you won't make them too dark, especially the netherrack. I've tried some other textures where they were too dark for you to see over a distance. You were almost wandering in darkness :Water:

Keep up the good work :iapprove:

If you start looking for repetitive patterns, you'll find a zillion ones ! :( I'll check if I can see this line and if it's obvious.

Mh, I'll try a bit darker but I have a heavy tendency to make things too dark so I'm trying to fight this and your 'request' goes against this sacred fight for Light. :D

Roots, rock... yeah ! Good idea

Yes, i know - there is a risk of repeating with side grass blocks.
I thought, it would be nice to have side-grass blocks who are looking different from dirt blocks.
The most side blocks look like the dirt block with a little grass on top.
But i think, as long as they tile good, the side blocks could be nearly without dirt and instead designed with something else - e.g. roots^^

Man, all this looks terrible wrong written.

Hi Ovo, just wanted to say I REALLY like what you are doing here. My favorite image is the picture of the town square with the fountain. The colors work so well together and aren't harsh. My eyes feel so nice looking at it. That picture is actually the reason I am installing your pack now and I hope that you continue make this pack look awesome!

edit: after installing the pack my water looks much darker than in the screenshots. Can anyone help? I like the lighter look.

I had no problem understing, and I'm not native English either and surely make a lot of mistakes. :D
I'll certainly improve the side grass texture someday, with your suggestion in mind.

This is normal, the water texture on the screenshot came from JohnSmith's pack but I didn't put it in mine so what you have for now is the default minecraft texture until I've made one myself , sorry. I'll try to make it next week. I've been postponing it until now cause I've never done animations, I fear the work involved. :|:

+1 ! I don't have a better one, I'm activating Fancy graphics only to take screenshots. :wood:(
