I am sorry to say that I can no longer continue working on this pack... at least for now. Anyone who wishes to continue to use what we have created is allowed to. All download links should still work. I hope anyone who is interested will treat this pack well! We've put a lot of work into it so far and now there's much more to do. Thank you all who helped out, it really means a lot!
First off:
I'd like to say that I did not create Isabella II. The original thread can be found here. Bonemouse, (the creator) Listed a final announcement on the thread:
"I'm sad to announce that I will be retiring as a Minecraft texture pack maker (for now) and will not be producing anymore updates for Isabella.I owe a huge dept of gratitude to everyone who downloaded my pack, especially those who took the time get in touch with me via this post or PM. Isabella has been my most successful creative endeavor, and even though I never made a dime doing it, the hours spent were well worth it.I'm leaving Isabella in the hands of the community. I'd love to see someone (or some people) take her to 1.6 and beyond. Anyone wishing to continue my work has my permission to do so.Treat her well.Thanks,-Bone"

9/6/13 - Clay and new soundsI think it's about time we got some new sounds into the pack. Plokinub sent me a link to a new rain sounds that I thought would fit well with Isabella and its moody theme. Now for the hardened clay; first off I'm going to redo the entire set so it fits better. As of now some prices are either a bit to "crunchy" or plain. Another thing is the cyan block. The first version actually looks like cyan, but after someone brought up that if you have a dark red then add cyan you get a grayish blackish color I decided to change it to a similar aspect of the minecraft texture of what exists already. If I get a majority of people that don't like it then I can always change it back.7/22/13 - Work work and more work, that's my problem. Luckily I just finished a huge over load of things and work is quieting down. I just finished the horse models and such, they turned out better than expected. I plan to make some small edits here and there over times but they should suffice for now. That really wraps it up for the new 1.6 textures, until then expect only small updates.7/8/13 - A while ago I set up a topic pole to see what people thought of the fire texture situation. Now, I was surprised to find that 85% of you chose the new fire texture over the old one. From the comments I gathered that people didn't like it. Then after MrAndrew420 posted I realized that the fire textures I had found were from the FTB pack version of Isabella. Posted ImageNow after this was heard by someone *cough*Plokinub*cough* They submitted a new new fire texture that I find quite beautiful. I'm going to put this in the pack and see what you guys and gals think. If you want to talk about it in the comments please input something that shows its about the 7/8 message. *cough*#isabellamessageboard*cough*
Description of the Pack:
Isabella II is a dark/moody texture pack that has a melancholic feel with bright visuals. Some would call this pack depressing while others call it a new default. Hope you enjoy it! Screenshots:(Images used from original thread) Downloads:
Please note that the 1.5 download is a link to the last downloadable pack that Bonemouse made. Just place the "Isabella_II_x.zip" into the resource pack folder. If you don't know where that is go to the texture pack selector in minecraft then hit the "go-to resource pack folder" button. Important: Optifine or Mcpatcher is required to see some features of this pack. Both are supported and work well. Go to their forum threads to learn how to install and use them. 1.8: here! (Last edited 3/1/14) 37% complete! Please give any feedback that is helpful! Thank you! 1.7: here! (Last edited 12/12/13) 1.6: here! (Last edited 9/6/13) 1.5: here! Fonts:
There are currently two fonts in this pack. In order to use them you'll have to enable them. The reason why I don't want to add a new font and set it as default is because I want to preserve the legacy of Isabella. Here are the steps for enabling fonts:1) Go to your resource pack folder located in your .minecraft files.2) After Isabella_II_x.zip is in the resource pack folder, navigate to Isabella_II_x\assets\minecraft\textures\font3) There will be two files named ascii (1).png and ascii (2).png, change which ever one you want to be your font to ascii.png4) Start Minecraft and see if it worked! Isabella's predecessor has been updated too!:1.6: here! Twitter:

Just checked in on the original thread to see if there would be an update and was met by the sad news that Bonemouse would be not be working on the pack any longer. I was glad to see someone step up to the plate so quickly. I will for sure be following this and can't wait to see how it turns out!

Ah, thanks for catching the Lilly pad, unfortunately I can't do much to change its color. It is based off the foliage.png which is set to darken things. Try going to a swamp biome and placing one? I don't know about the fire texture though, that was actually in the pack before it was discontinued. If you want I'll leave the old fire texture in and you can go in and change it.

You are absolutely right sir, I had forgotten that I used optifine in past versions which made those features work correctly. I assume Mcpatcher will do what optifine doesn't so its your best choice for now.
Thank you so much for continuing this. Most people who try to continue texture packs fail to do it correctly since you can obviously see where the creator's and the editor's styles contrast. You've done a good job so far forging the original artist's style of pixel art x3

I'm using the latest download, and the New texture is working in Forest biomes at least.
Make sure when you patch your minecraft, you tick the Custom colours, as that is what applies the new colouring.
Hey, good job so far on the pack! I only got two things to say though:
1: The fire texture looks strange compared to the old one.
2: Are the horse armors complete? I downloaded the latest pack you edited yesterday and it seemed like all the horse armors were just parts on the side of their heads and rope around the rest of it.
