Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me, but that grass block seems a lot larger then the template @ 100%.

Make sure the image meet these standards:
.png file
less than 10kb
width is 64
height is 32

if everything else fails,
download from http://minecraft.net/skin/.png and use that
