Paintball



Play Paintball in Minecraft!
Play with friends in a team based PVP game where being hit by a single arrow means you are out, just like in paintball. Complete with 5 different game types, each with their own map. All done in redstone, 100% vanilla utilising command blocks and scoreboards for visual outputs.

Woops, forgot to mention: For obvious reasons if you play on a server (rather than LAN) you need to enable command blocks

Just noticed a bug in the randomiser (Left something in while testing). Uploaded a fix that also contains a display for Control Point

Released V1.2 (Major bug fixing patch), now you should respawn properly and play CTF without a tonne of bugs regarding capturing

What version of the map are you playing? One of the features for 1.3.2 was that your level with decrement before each round as an indicator. I'll check to see if it is broken, but it should be working.

Anyway thanks for downloading the map! I was fearing this had sunk into the depths of the forums where no-one would see it.

With great difficulty :P

But seriously I have a clock running that checks for players near the points. This triggers a comparator hexadecimal latch (counts down from 15) which tells the game whi has captured it. This then sets the "player"'s team (point a, point b, etc) so the player can see it has been captured
