Review Summary
Interesting use of teleportation and invisibile walls to direct the player, but not enough story/dialogue to explain what is going on. I have NO idea who the villains were or how I stopped them by placing a button. I can see the progression that the map maker was going for, but the experience did not come across. I like the guards, keeping me away from the TARDIS until I performed other quests. The build was very basic.
Total Rating: 10 (and that is generous)
Creativity - 3 (above average, I appreciate the teleportation to move the story)
Detail - 2 (average)
Experience - 1 (below average, confusing)
Challenge - 2 (too easy)
Progression - 2 (average)
Play Notes
massive spawn area, doesn't need to be quite that large
texture pack doesn't work with 1.5.1, needs to be unstitched
started with 4 levels
I suspect this may be a troll map, based on the book "Fat Doom" in my inventory...
Hmm... interesting tardis build. You can see grass through the floor
I like the psychic paper!!
How did these medieval guards know my tardis was a vehicle?
The buildings outside of Camelot are very plain
Too many invisible walls. Why are they needed inside a house?
The dialogue/teleport stopping me from going into the backyard is interesting!
Is this a castle wall around a vanilla village? :/
I saw bedrock, so I jumped into the well to investigate. Now I can't get out. Fail. Game over.
There's no shop owner (testificate) in the SHOP SHOP, but someone is talking to me
wooden button in guard house
wth - I got arrested for trespassing?
And teleported back in...
I have no idea what's going on here...
Went up the cobble stairs onto the castle wall, jumped over to the brown house (outside the walls) and jumped into the chimney
Radio?
what mission...?
no point going to the tardis yet. ok
now what...?
why are there two empty command blocks in the ceiling of the SHOP SHOP?
the tardis is the only way in, but it said no point going to the tardis. let's try again...
ok - that actually worked
what the... i just got teleported back to this house. oh. the villagers ran inside and stepped on the stupid pressure plate
LoL. A whole bunch of zombies just came in and are attacking the guards - completely ignoring me
All the dialog is crammed into one line. Try separate lines and maybe color it to differentiate who is speaking
what? that was the end? wow.

OK, I knew it was pretty bad, but the way you put it made me laugh so much. I'm sorry for the confusing dialogue, and I'm not sure how to change the colors. The SHOP SHOP? I don't know why my friend put that in there. Or why it was named that. As for the ending, I didn't really know what to do for it, so I just made it as quick as I could. I promise my other maps won't be that bad. If I could redo it, I would definitely use the Custom NPC Mod.
P.S. It was a vanilla village. I know, I see how ridiculous it seems now.
Just tried it out and was really excited, but the teleportation did not work
Really? That's odd, I didn't have that problem with anyone else. I'll see what's going on, and re-post it if i fix the problem. How did you know it didn't work? Did it teleport you to the wrong place, or nowhere at all?
Rules

You mean the texture pack? Sorry about that, I tried updating it, but with this new 1.5 thing, it's just so confusing.
