Smooth GUI Mod V2.1

What does this mod do?
This mod changes the minecraft main menu into a different more smooth screen. It also changes the menus so that the background of some menus has a background and not the default background. The "loading screen" like the one when you create a world now has a background. Pictures of the menus and main menu are below.

Screenshots:

- Loading screen has a background
- menus have backgrounds

- The bottom of the menus has a stone background

All you have done is added a gradient rect to the main menu and removed the default so they only display text then changed the grass texture to blue you could at least put some effort into it

No one cares what you think. He didn't have to share this mod with us, so you don't have the right to whine like a little kid.

I have also changed the loading screen, the background in the menus, and moved the buttons into the left side of the main menu.

Well I for one, think this is really nice looking. If I wasn't playing the Snapshot I would definitively download this.

One thing I think would look nice if you added some slight gradients to the solid colors so it isn't totally flat. Would be really neat if you changed all the menus like the inventory, or crafting menu, or whatever else.

In any case, I do like this. c:

Looks like a good alternative for those who don't want voxelMenu. Mind I suggest you specifying how to install correctly, such as either drag drop into minecraft.jar, or drop into mods folder. You should also mention whether this mod is a vanilla, modloader, or forge mod. Other than that I think this is a great alternative.

can you add the left aligned UI option?

I thought it looked nice

also, maybe adding in animations for other parts of the UI besides the main screen

Do you mean putting the main menu buttons on the left side of the main menu? Do you mean the background of the main menu moving around? I guess I can try to make these. :)
