Easy as pie!

I'm loving this update.

Here is an example. The size can vary as much as you like.

Just like this.

Simple!

P.S. The pulse on the one I have set up is really slow. I made it to achieve this but you can easily adjust it of course.

I forgot to post my mini pulse generator.

Ok, Checked Your Out-I GOT PWND
This is ironic-I come up with this idea of a very simple clock generator then I look at the forum....  BAM A Adjustable Clock Generator..... Well Played

Mine... Takes 2 repeaters, 5x4, Very Simple, 4-Clock
Yours... Smaller 4x5, Takes 6 repeaters, Simple But I think your fastest speed is a 5-Clock and Adjustably Slower
WHO WILL WIN!

Woah man!

Haha I'm not that smart with redstone so I'm not 100% sure what is is...

But with mine it seems to stop when you quit the save and jump back in.

Tried a couple of designs:
First one is smaller:
Posted Image

Bit bigger but fastest possible clock.
Posted Image

Same size as the last, one repeater and fastest clock you can make that doesn't burn.
Posted Image

EDIT: Got it tiny!
Fastest clock, redstone ontop of the dirt block.

If you stick two of these right on each other and loop around back to the start I think you can shrink that 4 clock, though you'd only be able to use on tick of it like that.

I built a 5x3 adjustable/rapid pulser, and it can be wired to resume easily.
Posted Image

all you need to do to start it is place a torch as shown, then remove it.
Posted Image
it can be used at any of the settings, they just need to be matched between the repeaters before starting. (or re-starting)
as for resuming, you can just run a wire under the two repeaters (both, or it locks up) and it (usually) resumes no problem. or, of course, you can just restart with the torch method.

SUPER BONUS: the signal can also be repeated at full speed using repeaters in all directions (I think only one side is full speed if you go north, with the long side going N-S, but I've only tested like once).
FUN FACT: the full speed signal can run repeaters at any setting, allowing it to be the source for several different clocks. also, using it to drive a repeater at the second setting, followed by another at the third yields a steady on signal.

EDIT:
Thanks to ThoughtWolf for inspiring the new, 2x4x2 design with that last post; should have all the same properties.
Posted Image
and still easily started with a torch placed just in front of either repeater. example:
Posted Image
have to get slightly more creative on the resume trigger, but should still be doable...
resuming only seems to work for this one if the section lit by the lower repeater (left side in picture) is lit when you exit/return. so, not as useful if you want to restart it remotely.

I forgot to post my mini pulse generator.

Posted Image
This works great! But can burn out if you make it go too fast.

Posted Image
Simple! ish

Posted Image
Just place a torch for a second and remove it.

Posted Image
Leave it for too long and you will break it.

This one stops working when you leave the save.
