Atum is a dimension mod that opens up a whole new desert dimension that contains an eternal world full of sand, temples, and tons of new foes. Journey into Atum and discover ancient artifacts as you battle your way through vicious new enemies!
Atum is not for the faint of heart! Bring your best armor, weapon, and food/torches before you embark!
Traveling to Atum
To travel to Atum, you must construct a Jeweled Scarab as an offering to the gods, only the finest materials in the overworld will do.
Then by constructing a proper portal and right clicking the centerpiece with the Scarab the portal will open and your journey can begin!
(In the Alpha test, the portal is a 5x5 of Sandstone with a 3x3 hole in the middle and a 3x3 of sandstone below it, with 4 2 tall pillars of sandstone on the corners.)
The Denizens of Atum
Spread throughout the desert and armed with scimitars, they want whatever you're carrying and will stop at nothing to steal it!
Armed with deadly bows, Nomads will unleash a hail of pain on you from a distance! Some of them will even have enchanted bows!
The cursed of Anubis! Those who fail judgement are damned to walk Atum as mummies! They are weak to fire but will run faster if ignited!
Angry bones refuse to stay dead and in their jealousy of your flesh hunt you to the ends of Atum!
Cursed souls that wonder Atum, they are quick and relentless and often travel in packs. Beware their deadly curses!
Ancient stone soldiers that were awakened for defending their long dead masters. They are nearly impervious to damage.
The ancient masters of Atum, thousands of years ago they were buried beneath these sands and now awaken to wreak havoc upon its inhabitants!
The Dungeons of Atum
Ruins and Pyramids dot the landscape of Atum! Search through long forgotten ruins to plunder their riches, and try to find your way through the twisting tunnels inside of the ancient pyramids to find their glorious artifacts!
The Artifacts of Atum
Throughout Atum are spread gifts from the gods, formerly the equipment of ancient heroes that were blessed in their attempts to save Atum but failed, they are now yours to obtain! Each one bestows a powerful boon to the wearer!
(The armor has a proper 3D render texture too!)

What is Forge?
Forge is an API that allows us to do much more when creating mods. It is required for Atum to run. You can find the latest version of Forge here.
Why haven't you updated to X?!/You should update to X!
These questions are strictly against the MCF rules. We will report posts that are asking for updates and such. If you pay strict attention to our Twitter feeds (at the top) you will know when the updates are coming and what the status is on them (as well as Beta/Alpha version tests, development streams, and test servers!)
Please visit this site to see what bugs have been reported and what state they are in. You can also report your own bugs by opening an issue.
Please do not report bugs that are already on the list, but if you have more information DO comment on the thread for the report. It will help us solve it.
Bugs found in the "closed thread" section are already solved/addressed.
Rights of Use
Atum's rights of use allow you to make videos, take screenshots, or talk about Atum/Atum content and post it anywhere. We highly encourage our fans to do this, you guys have no idea how important these things are for a mod. Youtube, Reddit, Twitter, the MCF, go anywhere and talk about us!
We love our fans and what you guys do with our mod, and we love hearing about it. Show off your constructions, your Let's Plays, your mod reviews, go talk about us all over the net. These kinds of things are beneficial to the mod.
At the moment, we're denying modpacks the right to use Atum. Atum is in an alpha state and has a lot of worldgen, and we don't want players making worlds for servers and such that might be corrupted the next version due to changes. So at the moment we will not be allowing modpacks, this will change in the future.
