Welcome everyone!  This is SummerFields, the marvelous texture pack started by LithiumSound and now continued by me, CuddleWoozle.

Inspired by the 16x texture packs Jolicraft and GoodMorningCraft and the game Fable - The Lost Chapters.

SummerFields RP1 (5/7/2013) [For 1.6.1+]

You can now simply place the .zip file into your Resourcepack folder and it should work.  Posted Image  Thank you very much for your patience!

-Fixed file structure so the .zip is recognized by Minecraft.

-Updated this thread and added more mod support!

-Changed the Hay Bale slightly.

A Note About the Customizer:

The Minecraft Customizer website has not been updated to support the way Minecraft 1.5+ handles textures and resources.  As such, I cannot update the customizer.  It will still work for 1.4.7 and lower, but NOT the newer versions.  This is why I put together the AltPack.  Yes, it's a bit more work to rename the files, but it's the best I can do at the moment.

SummerFields R31 (13/3/2013) [For 1.5]

[Adfly link if you want to gimme a tip with advertisers money]

R31 is the last regular texture pack release for SummerFields.  Use this version only for 1.5-1.5.2

SummerFields R30c (13/3/2013) [1.4.7 Legacy]

This download is for 1.4.7 and earlier only.  If you are using the snapshots, you want the first download.

SummerFields AltPack 1.0 [For Everyone]

SummerFields AltPack Add-On 1.2

This download contains a whole lot of alts that should suit most everyone.  Posted Image  Read the note for more info.

The AltPack Add-On contains a few new textures like faceless soul sand, dyes in bottles and the non-animated versions of the grass and torches and stuff.

1.6+ Mod Support

All support listed here is made and tested in 1.6.2.  Simply place the contents of the .zip into the SummerFields .zip or folder.

Bibliocraft- Bookshelves! Potion Shelves! Tool Racks! Armor Stands! Printing Presses! Copy books! Fancy lights in multiple colors!  Tables! And did I mention they come in all four wood colors? [Mod Thread]

Backpacks - Like a chest in your inventory.  Now you can even wear them on your back like a pack mule! (Features re-created textures!  Yay for colors that match the original SummerFields colors!) [Mod Thread]

Multipage Chest - For when a regular chest just isn't big enough.  Because...you know...you have STUFF. [Mod Thread]

Pre 1.6 Mod Support can be found in the fan extension thread.

Requests for Mod Support

This is just a section where I'll try to keep everyone updated on what kinds of mod support have been requested.  Posted Image  If you see it listed here, I'm aware of it and it's on my list of things to get done.  If you see something on this list and you want to help by making textures for it, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO SO.  Otherwise it'll take me quite some time to work through all of these! These are in no particular order.  I may take things out of order to work on.  Also, if you want to work on textures, let me know you are so I can put your name next to it.

Pam's Mods (Started)

Millenaire

Damage Indicators

Mo Creatures (Started)

Custom NPCs

Jammy Furniture Mod

Twilight Forest

Metallurgy 2

Forestry

Buildcraft (Updating)

Bleach Mod (Next on the list)

Minecraft Comes Alive (Because...not having Goons or Squidwards is kind of nice.  XD)

Better Than Wolves (Someone was working on this...update?)

Thank you Lithium.  <3

The link to the snapshot ready texturepack is now live!  I'll get things sorted and post a link for 1.4.7 users and see what I can do to straighten out the customizer.  (It goes up and down like a yo-yo.)

You can use it to fix world hunger by making a PopTart LMG and putting it on a helicopter. Then, fly to Africa and start shooting at crowds.

Haha.  If you want to play a bit of a game, pick out the textures I did without reading my 'note' file.  I'd like to think that I knew my way around Photoshop/GIMP.  ;)

There are a very small amount of them I'm not happy with yet, but I'm going to re-do them.  I wanted to get a working snapshot/1.5 version out as soon as I could.

Current mod support pack for Mo' Creatures is missing textures for multiple items, such as the Sharktooth Sword and animal hide. This leaves blank spaces in inventory.

Thank you so much, CuddleWoozle. This texture pack is absolutely my favourite, and I am so happy to see it being continued. :3 Will you link the minecraft customizer and prepare it for 1.5?

I'm aware of this.  If you check on page two of the Fan Extension topic you'll find a temporary patched item.png.  :)

I'm going to be figuring out something with the customizer.  Sometimes it goes down, so I'm thinking of putting together an alt pack with just the alternates so that people can still get those textures even if something happens with the customizer.

It's as if you read my mind! I was going to suggest that you do this!

Why the version "Summerfields R30.b (03/05/2013) [1.4.7 Legacy]" has no clouds nor Bump Mapping?

In version "Summerfields SEUS Adaption by pondcypress" everything is fine ...

The bump mapping files are not created by the texture maker, those are usually third party adaptions. I also noticed that the sky/moon/etc are in the environment folder in the 1.4.7 pack which is incorrect for that version.

Edit: On that note, are there any plans to make a shader compatible version?

Unfortunately, I can't do the shader versions.  Posted Image  I would love to, but I can't use the shaders on my computer, they just don't work for me.  When I tried to use them everything just rendered as a blue screen.  If PondCypress will let me do it, I would love to post his shader versions for everyone so they can find his great work.  Posted Image  (I won't do textures for stuff I can't test.  Technically I probably could muddle through a version, but I'd rather have them where someone can test them and tweak them without having to swap files back and forth.)

And a huge facepalm on the sun/moon textures.  I swapped the files around for the 1.5 pack and forgot to switch them back again for the Legacy version.  D:  I'll fix that, thanks for pointing it out!

[edit]

The Legacy pack should be OK now with the moon/sun in the proper place.  I can't believe I forgot that I moved them.  My bad. Posted Image

I did.  I should be the same address as the previous version and the same filename.  I fixed it and replaced the file.  Posted Image

Huh.  I wonder what's up with that?  Are you sure you got the 1.5 version and not the Legacy version? I'll check out the snapshot and see if something has changed.  (Never can tell with these snapshots...)

[Edit]

I just checked it with a clean snapshot install and it seems to be working fine.
