ModCraft



Welcome to modcraft, This will be unique from others since I learn from modding and make better and better mod's I will keep leaving comments in the source code WHICH YOU can easily edit them and create YOUR OWN!
If you use my source's please put credit's in the description for me for providing the source code. =]

1) Open Minecraft.jar with winrar
2) Delete META file
3) Copy ALL files into minecraft.jar
4) start minecraft
5) ?????
6) Profit
* = Requires mod loader you can get it here, viewtopic.php?f=25&t=80246
^ = Modified an CORE file which may interfere with non-mod loader mods.

Spiked Swords * 1.3.1
Spike sword's is an mod that allow's you to make an new deadlier type of weapon, What is of-course Spiked Swords
There are 5 type's of Spiked Swords one which is an secret "Combo" of items to make the deadliest sword in minecraft the Spiked Combo Sword, How to create them?(Wood has an different version due to it would be overpowered I think.)
*Hint on Combo, It only contains 2Steel,2CobbleStone and 2Diamonds with one stick.

Fast Smelting ^ 1.3.1
Fast Smelting is an increased furnace smelt/cook by 3x the current wait which is very very huge, However to make this fair I also made the burn time of the fuels 3x as less to keep it balanced. There may be an update to this to make an custom smelter and an custom energy source which can only be used.

Over Powered Tools! ^ 1.3.1
It is the double the speed of the regular tool's which makes it great if you are low on time or not, This WILL NOT be working on multiplayer.

Sounds good keep me posted cuz ive been lokin for something like this oh and try to make some cool arrow mods/projectiles (like knives i like throwin knives)

Awww I was hoping it was out by now- been waitin'

I'm mildly concerned about Diamond Following Bow. Since its probably a homing bow & not a mining aid. I like to believe I need some skill to shoot things far away.

It's premature to say this, but if it's a Homer, can that aspect be an option? Or could it be that it only activates the homing feature with special homing arrows?

*Is it a Diamond Following Bow or Diamond Following Crossbow?

crossbows shud make the arrow go faster and farther

this would be a TREMENDOUS help in the nether when those dumb ghasts float a mile away and shoot at u

303=No has modloader anymore,risu merged theirs,AND risugami made modloader first

Sorry guys iam having HUGE difficulty's getting the crossbow's to work and trying to sort it out.

Crossbow's depending on the on type and yes there WILL be more, some shoot in bursts, some act as snipers, some even act as bazookas!

Diamond will be an following diamond crossbow, there will also be another type of crossbow made of diamond but much stronger then steel to keep the two fair.

Yes but 303 has been most active coder in the mod-loader even thought Risugami how now token over it and it was his idea once we get past 1.3 it will become Risugami and not 303.

















Edit; In hope of making this mod 100% combatable with ALL mods I will be switching to mod-loader which should also make it ALOT easier.

First mod done, Crossbow/bolts will take to much experience which I don't currently process so there will be there one a time :D.

as you can see I do have the image in the right spot
kay, so. First, you go to the folder that says 'Swords' and drag it INTO the folder IN the .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar, because Gui is not the same as gui. Drag 'swords' into 'gui' folder. It should work.

Does anybody know the 'combo' to the ultimate spiked sword? I've been trying forever, but I still can't figure it out.  :iapprove:

Decompile the mod with MCP and see for yourself its an "odd" combination but it makes it very very challenging to guess.


I'll work on an fix for the sword's seeing as people are having some problems with the image's which shouldn't be according.

well, this is what he mod was structured as. i will rename the folder and see if it works.

edit: yes, that worked, the mod should be re-uploaded with the correct name to avoid this issue

Where does the swords folder go?
In your minecraft.jar, find the folder named 'gui' and stick the 'swords' folder with it's contents into it.

yup i tried sticking the swords folder into the minecraft.jar gui folder and when i tried making the wooden spikey sword and stone spikey sword both recipes were unable to produce the swords in the right hand side of the crafting table.

any idea if other mods might cause yr swords to not appear even with correct recipes? and my minecraft launches without any crashes.

This WILL NOT working   there is a typo right there i am 99% sure u wanted to say this WILL NOT work on mp :D
