Looks cool, I'll give it a go. I don't do video but I'll edit my screen shots in as I play.

This is a neat map. Very well put together. :D

Main challenge:
-Find a working vehicle.

Other challenges:
-Find food in abandoned buildings.
-Chop down a tree to get wood.
-Make a refuge. Must have a chest, a workbench and a furnace.
-Find clothing and medicine.
-Craft a bow and arrows.
-Make a map.
-Find a renewable food source. (I planted a watermelon)
-Tame a wolf.
-Use the Empire State Building's antenna.

Review Summary
This is the kind of survival map that someone who doesn't like pure survival would enjoy.
A nice, shortish survival map with proper character motivation.  I really enjoyed the vehicle search mechanic.  Gear was sparse, but as long as you keep it daylight and stick to the streets or roofs, it's not that challenging.  Spoiler: don't bother going onto the massive blue bridge - seemed a huge waste of time.  Otherwise, I really enjoyed this one!

Total Rating: 15/20
Creativity - 3 (above average - I love the vehicle search mechanic)
Detail - 4 (excllent, for a survial map)
Experience - 3
Challenge - 2 (easy to avoid danger. Food was the toughest challenge)
Progression - 3 (limited wood made gear feel scarce, but the void broke the immersion, and going across the bridges was a waste of time)

Nice, I enjoyed reading your review, very accurate! I like your rating system, it is very useful to me to improve the map or have it in mind for the making of my new maps, thanks!
Did you see the SOS post on the end scene? it let you tp back to new york.
Do you think the story books are fine  in the building room or it would be better to put them in the spawn room?
Do you think the items search "1 item/chest" is fun? Or the chests should have more items?

Keep in mind, I'm not a huge fan of the 'survival' type and I haven't played that many (compared to the other types). So take my rating with a grain of salt.  My gut says that I liked your map a little more than my rating alone reflects.

Oh - I didn't see the S.O.S.  I saw the road sign and the seemingly endless stretch of road, which gave the impression of a long walk ahead.

The story books at the beginning are fine.  My only comment would be that the spawn area is 'out of character' and once you warp, you should only find text that is 'in character'.  But it's not a big deal - I wouldn't take points off for that.

Regarding 1 item per chest... I never came close to dying, so it wasn't an issue.  But if someone was playing on 'normal' or 'hard' and lost their items or ran out of gear/food it might be difficult.  Sometimes I see map makers give too many items, particularly when you're already allowed to break down buildings or dig for ores.  In your case, it's definitely scarce.  But... I would try to get more feedback or some LPs before you make any significant changes.  I also took a very avoidance approach, focused on finding the vehicle instead of exploration or  your secondary challenges.

This looks cool! On a different note, do you want to enter into a community custom map? Message me if you do, I won't spam you with all the details if you don't want to.

Ok thanks. By the way, what type of map do you think is better or more popular? survival, ctm, adventure, parkour, puzzle?

This is my opinion:
It's a bit hard to say, but I think adventure are still more prevalent and appeal to the widest range of players.
Mini-boss fights are pretty popular.
CTM and Parkour are too hard for the majority of players, but have strong vocal followings.
A lot of people play vanilla survival, but there are a few specialty survival maps that are popular (like skyblock).
Puzzle maps used to be popular, but at this point, most of them feel too similar - flipping triggers in boxy rectangular rooms ;)

Ok thanks, I think That for my next map I will make an adventure themed map with a lot of Redstone things and command blocks. A story with a path to follow and an end. Do you think it's a good idea?

While I agree with some of your points in general, I would like to voice my LOVE for a good puzzle map! My ideal map is a good balance of puzzle, storyline, and parkour; for example Minerim, Off Guard, Electric Cave, Mineature Laboratories, or The Dream. Just my two cents. c:
