I appreciate that you wanted to make your own pack, but I'm just giving you a fair warning: probably literally thousands of these "simple" packs have been posted, and you might get flamed pretty hard by a lot of people here.

I like it, but I'm not a fan of that diamond. It looks like a blue egg.
Hi. I'm a penguin. I would get a picture of a penguin up for you to gawp at, but unfortunately I'm too lazy.

OP: If you want a simple pack for your youtube, I can point out a few packs. Bucket fills have been done to death and that is all I have to say on that matter.

Now I don't talk negative without giving some proper feedback.
OP: If you want to make a simple texture pack, then at least use a pallet and not default. Spice it up, set yourself apart from the hundreds of bucket fills. Very least, add some pizzazz to your thread.
I put the fun in FUNDAMENTALIST EXTREMISM!

Okay I get the point. I will watch the texture pack as it reaches fruition. If I like what I see, I will download it.

Instead of releasing this, an effortless bucket-filled texture pack (yes, it is), you could try doing something good from the beginning. I don't know what your plan is really, do you think it's going to help having basically all of the blocks one solid color in order to start adding 'pizzazz'? If that's what you plan on doing, you're wasting your time.

1. Don't limit yourself to the default shapes and colors.
2. Simple packs need shading.
3. Simple packs rely on color choice more than any other packs. This is similar to #1, but don't use default colors, use colors that go together well.

People want something original, and this has been done many times before. You'll have more fun if you allow yourself to stray from default as well.
There's yet more to come!

*Just keep scrolling, Zane. It'll end soon. . .*

I'd suggest that you study your favorite pack (Or, at least packs that you use) for what you like in a texture pack. Try to emulate that in your work. Also, avoid solid colors. Details and texture are needed, otherwise your textures go from simple to bucket-fill. Don't forget that texture packs take long periods of time to make, and you shouldn't show everyone your work unless you're confident that it is your best work(There are exceptions of course, such as needing feedback on things, but this shouldn't be done too early in your work.). Imagine if an automobile company decided to release its newest car when they've only build the wheels. Furthermore, simple packs rely on perfect color choices, patterns, and themes to be good packs. I'd suggest that you keep working, improving, and learning. Finally, working from the outside in (Making a bucket-fill then adding details later) is going to be less visually satisfying than working inside out (Taking your time to make each texture as good as it can be before moving to the next). When I make textures, I start with the hardest textures (In my opinion, grass) and the essential textures (Dirt, grass, stone, logs, et cetera.) before anything else.

Best of luck.

Eh...it doesn't look crazy...
It just looks flat.

Don't get me wrong, fine for your first one. It's good to use something to get to grips with making one.

What's that patterned block next to the grass block?
At least that's different to the rest and therefore different to what most people who make this kind of pack do.
So go in that direction. Your imagination is the most powerful tool when making a texture pack, use it.
Add shading so it doesn't look really flat (Yes, I know they're flat surfaces but flat looking textures are boring.)
Try finding your own set of colours.

its not supposed to look crazy. its for my youtube series and my youtube name is krazyfrogable and "krazyfrogable craft" is a bit of a mouthful so i simplified it to "krazy craft"

I'm sorry, but it just looks... blargh. It's unoriginal, uncreative, and each and every texture has only 3 colours if we're lucky and looks like it was done in 5 seconds. And if it's very far from being finished, it belongs in texture discussion.
