I've been playing minecraft for almost a year now. I've always searched these forums to find answers or solutions to any problems that I may of had. Well, after dealing with this problem for more then 2 months, i finally broke down and made a thread of my own concerning this problem because all others I have searched don't seem to this particular one.
After notch added the texture pack folder which allows you to have multiple texture packs availability to you for your use, I have sought to use that option only to have it not work. The .zip files I put into the texture folder don't seem to show up when I look for it in the in-game menu. Only default skin. I've tried different texture packs, watched video's, read countless (sometimes grammatically blissful) threads and posts and none of them seem to help me in this endeavor.
That being said, I don't want to come off as some whiny ninny that cries when something doesn't go there way. I even hate the fact that my first contribution to this site is this thread. I can play this game be it default or with a nice texture pack, I just want to know what I am doing wrong.
Ask me any questions that might help you, help me
I'm going to blame the time of night on this one boys but I realized that this wasn't in the support section after posting. So if a mod would be so kind to move to the correct section. Sorry for the inconvenience.
