What is VolumeCraft?
VolumeCraft is a survival server, where we offer a friendly, quiet and laid back community and a professional team of staff who are mature and professional, but at the same time friendly and player-orientated – all of the staff I have were chosen from the best of our players, so our staff reflect our players! We run a reliable, relatively lag-free server on a reputable host; we have great uptime, the only time we’ve had a major amount of downtime was around a month ago, but since then it’s been plain sailing!
Another great thing about us is that we are not a play-to-win server – sure, our donators are given brilliant and worthy rewards and perks, but it doesn’t make the game unbalanced or give them too much of an advantage. We have a website and forum that we have paid for and worked hard to make, and continuous development is going to both the website and the server every day, bringing lots of new features and updates around the clock, to ensure our players never ever get bored. We strive to provide the very best Minecraft multiplayer experience possible, as I was a regular server player before I decided to open my own server, and I am aware just how infuriating it can be to get childish, immature people running anarchy servers. Voting
Like all servers, we have a voting system. You can vote on up to four websites per day, and you get some great rewards for voting – 3 diamonds, 1 emerald, some money and XP per vote! We also regularly hold voting competitions, and reward people who we notice to be regular voters!

Free Ranks
We offer three different ranks that can be earned by players, absolutely free. Each rank grants different things, and they are earned in different ways. The player rank is earned simply by posting on our MinecraftForum thread with your in-game name and a positive comment about our server. The Member rank is given when a player accumulates 150, or more, posts on our forum and the Architect rank is given when a player builds something absolutely original, amazing and baws.

Donating
Like all servers, we have a donating system to help with the server bills. Unlike many other servers, our donators do not get completely OP advantages over the regular players – that’s just not fair. We do offer a range of different perks and rewards for those who do wish to donate, and nothing is too overpowered, and everything has being thought out carefully.

Player-Controlled Economy
Our server economy is 100% player controlled; there is no intervention by administrators (such as admin shops). You influence your own prices for goods, and you can earn money from voting, donating and selling your own goods. Anyone with the rank of player or above may own a shop in our market, and you can visit it in-game by typing /Warp Market. This certainly adds a sense of community, as players often work together to influence the prices of goods, creating new shops and competing against each other for customers!
PvP
We do allow PvP, when you login you will have one hour’s worth of PvP immunity to ensure that you get a fair start. There are rules that control PvP, and they can be seen in the spawn. This makes it fair for both those who wish to PvP, and those who prefer not to!
Advanced Griefing Protection
We are a survival server, and focus around making epic creations. We have an advanced system in place to stop griefing, and to fix it if it does occur! You can protect all of your creations by claiming “plots” of land, with a golden shovel. You can find out more information about how we protect your buildings against griefing by visiting our forums. If you are griefed, we can always fix it in an instant! Just ask an administrator nicely.
