Hey, did you already know thich way to dig sand and gravel fast, and if so, do you use it? When you hit gravel while mining it can be very frustrating. Then this might help. It also could be helpful when you need much sand.

I love how noobs come on the forum like this, and think somehow they're gonna teach us how to play.
Village Mechanics: A not-so-brief guide - Update for 1.4! Only ten villagers required to spawn iron golems (previously required sixteen)!  Added subsection on iron farming to the iron golems section.  Put to rest the "facing doors cancel each other" myth!

To bad that this method doesn't yield any flint when used on gravel.

I used this on a server where i needed around a million sand blocks and wasn´t allowed to do it with Worldedit.Posted Image
