Spoiler:

Known Bugs
  • 0.6.4.1 - The mod thinks it's still TradeBoothMod 0.6.2.1, fixed in 0.6.4.2.
  • 0.6.2.1+ - Removing a wool block from your Trade Booth top may not update the look of the trade booth until a block update happens nearby.
Distribution and Modpacks

Anyone may freely host and distribute the Trade Booth mod without restriction, whether it be a part of a modpack or all by itself. As you can read below, under the Source Code heading, you may modify the Trade Booth mod and distribute it freely as well. I certainly appreciate being given credit, but I will fault no one for omitting it.

Source Code

If it provides you any value, feel free to download the source code and tinker or distribute it as you please. Intellectual property and copyrights be damned! Copying is not theft!

More Information

Please report bugs and suggestions to this thread.

There is no crafting recipe because this mod is intended for server admins to distribute the blocks at their own leisure. Now with crafting recipes! You could even use a Trade Booth to sell more Trade Booths to server members. Or use a mod like Custom NPCs that allows you to add custom recipes to your server.

If you improve my mod please let me know. Maybe I'll start using your improved version instead of my own. Enjoy!

An excellent mod, neat and tidy.

Somthing other than the item frame to advertise exactly whats on sale, spesific to what 8 items are on offer inside the block would be nice.

Somthing like Bibliocrafts lables maybe, but tied into the transaction code.

This mod seems to be not compatible with Optifine as of 1.5.1

Some textures show up invisible.

Is there any way for the trade booth to have an infinite amount of whatever I'm selling, or do I just have to keep checking on it and filling it?

I'd guess so. But if you really want it to be "infinite" create a modpack like tekkit classic (1.2.5) and add buildcraft, EE2 and Trade booth.

The "Top" block shouldn't take my items, just save them as phantom items (like in FTB mods). Anyways great mod, I already use it on my SMP server.
sorry for my english :P (a hungarian man..)

Great suggestion, if I get around to updating the mod, I'll definitely consider this.

I'm told the most current version of the mod does work with 1.5.2. If anyone can confirm that it doesn't, please let me know which version of Forge you're using and I'll see about updating it promptly.

Could you add an option to make these items vulnerable to explosions? I have other methods of preventing griefing for player-owned stores and these items make it possible for players to have completely protected storage which is anathema to a raid server. Great mod regardless!

Check the OP, I updated the mod for you.

I added a configurable value to the config file (in the config folder) called Explosion Resistance. If you want to see example values that vanilla blocks use, visit the wiki and find the heading for Blast Resistance:

www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Explosion

I only did limited testing, but it seems to be working well. Please let me know if you find any bugs. You should be able to change the value for explosion resistance on your server's config file without having to ask the players to do the same with their client config files, but if not and it's causing trouble let me know. Enjoy!
