Welcome to the Eld's Guild Survival application thread!

I am Eldnick, but you can call me Eld.

guild /gild/ n.

An organization of people with related interests or goals, especially one formed for mutual aid or protection.

This is a pure Vanilla server, meaning that there are absolutely no plugins and everything that is intended to cause damage will take its path! The difficulty is currently set to Normal Mode, but I can definitely be convinced into running it on Hard, as I know monster hunting is a favored pastime.

I have never been a fan of mods (be they singleplayer or multiplayer) and because I figure there are plenty of people out there like me, I have decided to start this server. I am big on tight community, so, along with that fact and my choice of server to be hosted, with the help of Beastnode, I have configged and rigged a server with 10 open slots (12 slots, including me and my best friend)! This means that I will be accepting 10 applications from any posted below.

Now, for some rules (the fun part, right? )

Allowed:

- Cussing (within reason)

- Pranks (specifications below)

- Optifine and Rei's Minimap mods

Not Allowed:

- Griefing

- Stealing

- X-ray or any other mods than Optifine & Minimap

- PVP (unless both players agree)

Prank Specifications/Rules:

- No TNT

- No Fire

- No Lava

- No Killing Animals

- No Downright Griefing

- Leave a sign saying it was you!

Why should I choose you for one of the 10 spots?: I think I would be a good addition to the community and I love playing vanilla. I want a server that I can play on for a while because so many go downhill after not too long.

Tell me a little bit about your playstyle.: I usually don't build, I live in caves, mine alot and LOVE TNT I usually use it to make my underground bases.
Why should I chose you for one of the 10 spots?: I have been looking for a vanilla server ever since the one I used to play on got greifed, and I found this one which is just like it! I'm sure I could be helpful to the community in builds and such.

How active do you plan on being?: During the week i can play 2-4 hours between 1 pm and 5 pm since i work at night. On weekends i play 2-6 hours through out the afternoon and night. Im not a morning player since my work schedule.

Tell me a little bit about your playstyle: Im a Builder/Adventure I enjoy building huge structures (Mostly Buildings) I like to make exp farms and other nifty things. But i also love to exsplore caves and mine shafts. Gotta love those Diamonds!
Why should I choose you for one of the 10 spots?: Im a honost player who loves the game for what it is. I enjoy helping others and dont mind shareing what I have.

How active do you plan on being?: I usually play 1-2 hours a day after work. I also HONESTLY play a lot at night on the weekends. I work nights so when I wake up at my usual time ( 2-3 am CST ), no one is awake so I do things that are quiet that don't wake anyone in my house... like computer games, mainly Minecraft

Tell me a little bit about your playstyle: I generally focus on survival and once that is no longer an issue I enjoy building houses and adding on to the area ( terrforming is one of my favorite things I must be crazy! ), I normally end up making small unoccupied villages haha! I also like to explore with people. I love finding new caves and going into them with everyone in voice chat. It's always fun to hear the screams of people running from creepers in their leather armor haha!

Why should I choose you for one of the 10 spots?: To be blunt I am looking for a new home. Until recently I ran my own server with my husband and we no longer plan on doing it. Our host flaked out and I am at a loss because I don't want the responsability anymore. I just want a place to play, have fun, and make new friends. I want to be able to continue making my minecraft videos for youtube. I feel like this would be the place for me. Other reasons why! I like to help people, do group builds and have fun in the game!

If I get accepted I would also like my husband to join if that is at all possible. He is rather timid and wont come on the forums. So if this does come to pass I will PM you his application privately if that is alright with you ( if not just let me know! )

How active do you plan on being? However long people want me to usually. But if I have to say how long it is usually a few hours a day

Tell me a little bit about your playstyle: I usually work by myself until I get situated in a house. When that happens I will usually help people with building. If they don't need help, I will usually add on to the area around me.

Why should I choose you for one of the 10 spots?: Well I am looking for a small server with a good community. The server I play on is usually empty and when people do get on, they are only on for about 15 or 30 minutes. I really want a place that have nice people and are on the server alot.

When did you start playing Minecraft?: I've been playing Minecraft for well over 2 years now. I started in VERY early alpha, before there was even "survival mode"

How active do you plan on being?: Well if all is well and I am able to consider this server & community somewhat of a "home" to myself (seeing as I was just let go from another community) I would like to be able to play multiple hours a day.

Tell me a little bit about your playstyle: I do like to keep to myself in terms of wealth and what not, so I prefer to be stationed a decent distance from others so our mines rarely come into contact with one another. I like to be social in the chat as much as possible while I'm on, and I love getting to meet new people and befriend them along the way. I would also like to work on my redstone skills since I'm terrible with redstone currently but have never had the time or patience to actually learn it, but from what I've heard, it's quite rewarding to have redstone knowledge. (I know the basics obviously, just not the in-depth things!)

Why should I choose you for one of the 10 spots?: Well, I'm a very friendly person and I love to just hang out and chill with friends, I work hard in my personal life but it's nice to be able to sit back and play Minecraft with a community of people who are also as welcoming as myself.
