Hey everyone, I wasn't sure whether this would go here or not, but her goes anyway. Has it been confirmed whether or not there will be upside down stairs and half-slabs in the Xbox edition? I tweeted 4J Studios about it, but they never got back to me. So I just wanted too see if anyone knew. Thanks!

The different colored woods were added in 1.2.4 Upside down stairs and slabs came in 1.2.2. 4J has said that the update releases will go from 1.8.1 to 1.2.3 so we all assume we'll be getting one or possibly both features with the next update.

I'm pretty sure they already broke that by releasing 1.0.1 without the end so it's kind of outdated info. I'll try to find the tweet from 4J.

At this point, nobody except 4J knows for certain exactly what the next update will contain. The only things that they have confirmed for the next update at this point is the End, the Ender Dragon, and climbable vines. They have, however, said in the past that they would bring the game to the equivalent of the 1.2.3 PC update and go on their own path after that. They have also spoken about the possibility of bringing certain popular features from updates after 1.2.3 forward (as they have already done with a few things) so different woods, and other possible features that were added after 1.2.3 MIGHT get added at some point. Beyond that, most of everything is speculation right now.

Only the colored wood planks were added then, the colored slabs & stair come later. I believe closer to 1.3.1... I just hope we get all 3 in the same update as just having planks would be a bit semi-useless without the other 2 items as well. The only thing that confirms we will get colored wood is mincon when one of the memebers showed interest in adding them. Now as far as when that is a different matter, as it could be the next one or it could be after. We will have to see about that.

The upside down stuff should come in on the next one, assuming it is the 1.2.3 equivalent, as those came out in the 1.2 era. Would be nice to get the sideways logs, but that is unconfirmed and besides those came out like 1.3.2, as well the auto arrange that came out in 1.4...

All of those I am hoping for. Which we will get is up to them, and we will have to see...
