I am using Magic Launcher and trying to use Minecraft Forge Universal 1.4.7 and Cyberfuchs Ores and Coins mod. Every time I click the "test" button I get this code and nothing happens, minecraft doesn't load at all. Am I doing something wrong, or is it that I am just forgetting a step completely? Someone please help me. I am starting to get bored with the original layout of minecraft and would like to spice it up but so far it doesn't seem like minecraft will let me or wants me to for that matter. lol.

Ok here's how to install Forge:
Look in your error log. If it says ANYWHERE "Read Timed Out", then look for links that start with "files.minecraftforge.net/" Copy and Paste those links in your browser and wait for the files to download.
Hope this helps!

- Make sure you have a clean .minecraft folder (click "Force Update" in the original MC launcher, under options)
- Download Forge and open it up. Also open your minecraft.jar (open these up with a program such as WinRAR or 7-zip)
- drag all the files from forge to the minecraft.jar
- close both of those and open up Minecraft!
- It should come up with a small window saying something like "FML is now making some changes". I don't know exactly what it is...but once it completes...you should see something in the bottom left-hand corner of MC that says "Forge" There should also be a "Mods" button on the main MC screen.
- If this doesn't work, try downloading the files below and putting them in you "Lib" folder in your .minecraft folder.

I tried it and followed your directions as far as I could. At step 4, when I open up minecraft it stays on the "Mojang" load screen. Am I supposed to delete the META INF folder or should I leave that in there? I dont like minecraft right now.. lol.

Delete meta inf. When adding mods always do that.
not trying to debate your knowledge of how to install mods but from what i read with magic launcher you don't have to delete meta inf or any other file for it to work..

Not sure about installing forge with magic launcher. Try installing it the old fashioned way.
I have downloaded the latest version of fml and it has a META INF folder in the zip of fml that has files in it. should i keep that meta inf or delete it still?
