Are TNT Carts meant to be able to explode instantly let alone without being activated? I don't think so.

I would say it was because they got pushed into a wall, but it exploded before touching the wall in some cases. Hmmmmmmm.

Well actualy.  I think minecarts exploding randomly is a feature, as it isnt completely random.  If you aren't carefull with the TNT minecart, it explodes.
Well that's stupid.
Now the only thing that slabs are useful for is decoration.

If a TNT cart derails. it instantly explodes with no delay. It is not a bug.

But, the new snapshots are supposed to protect the rails, so I believe it is a bug, especially if it's because the minecart de-railed.
