I don't know the hex codes but there are all the types of sandstone stairs, quartz stairs and stone brick stairs. You can get them by placing the normal stair example, place stone brick stair and you can get mossy stone brick stairs etc... Here are the images:

the stairs are from the beta 1.8 (i think) and it works this way: the kind of stair you get depends on what direction you place it
