Here's some stuff you need to know about it:
-You will never be given blocks by an admin, and will never be teleported anywhere.
-If you farm for wood logs, you have to take ALL of the tree down. Don't let anything floating.
-No floating stuff like cities or building or anything.
-Non PvP server, unless you're 100% certain other party involved is willing.
-It is vanilla, but I use tools to rollback griefing should it happen.
-No griefing or you're banned, obviously.
-Creepers explosion still happen, and will hurt player, but will not destroy blocks due to possibilty of
accidentally breaking someone else's chest/house/whatever.
-If you use someone else's crop or livestock, you have to replant-rebreed everything you take.
This is what I envision of the server:
-Thightly knit community.
-Well established towns, with helpful people living in them, not dead ones.
-Community projects as we see fit.
Additional rule: If you happen to find the end dungeon, do not kill the end dragon. That shall be a planned event by everyone that wants to attend. If you do kill it, you will be banned and I will reset the end, so just don't do it and save everyone the trouble.
