So I have a mojang account and suddenly whenever I try to log in to minecraft.net or play the game it won't let me. I get "Oops, unknown username or password. If you are logging in with a Mojang account make sure to use your e-mail address as username." or it just says invalid name/password even though my account still works and I was playing the game last night. What's up?

I just started having the same problem. I've tried restarting my computer and even reinstalled my game and it still won't let me play it keeps saying invalid username/password combination even though I can log in on the mojang website.

Yes, I have a Mojang account and it's telling me my password/username combo is wrong. My friends without a mojang account don't seem to be having this problem. Is this some sort of mess up on Mojang's end to do with Mojang accounts?

I am having the same problem too.  I was on earlier today just fine, then I just wanted to check in, but it keeps saying "failed login" or "invalid username/password combination" (with Technic Launcher) even though I can log in on the Mojang website.  Re-installing failed to do anything.  It must be some tech issue with Mojang.  I'm just happy I'm not the only one who's having this issue.

I have just tried to use the launcher and it said 'Play offline, cannot connect' even though I had an internet connection. So I went onto Minecraft.net and it says 'Unknown Username/Password' (I have a feeling that Minecraft is being hacked again.)

Calm yourselves. The developers are probably on it already. I am checking Twitter now.

EDIT: I have checked @jebs_ and @notch on Twitter. They haven't posted anything on it. I sent jeb a tweet about it.

Phew, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with this happening. I guess we'll just have to wait til Mojang gets around to fixing it.

I cannot login to either the client or minecraft.net, however I can get into my account at mojang.com.

Is anyone still having this problem? I was just able to login a few hours ago, but now it keeps saying login failed, but I can log in on mojang.com.

Yup I'm having the same problem. Seems to be with only migrated accounts because my alt which isn't migrated works fine.

I'm having this issue, and I just bought minecraft. Kind of disappointing for this to happen right after purchase. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

EDIT: The launcher was just fixed. I'm able to get on again.
