Pardon but with TConstruct_mc1.4.7_1.1.5 when I try to enter a nether portal the server closes but its in a SSP world and the only way to get back into the save is to backdate to TConstruct_mc1.4.7_1.1.1, is there a solution I don't have a error log as the SSP Server is disconnecting with the Server closed message

Check your Forge Log. It should always contain any crashes that happen at all.

which I assume is normal but the problem show even on a fresh world and I'm not keen on throwing out a entire map just for one world gen issue because now that i've updated CCCore and NEI to the mos recent version I can walk around the nether till I reach a new chunk and the SSP game closes and gives the serve disconnect sending me back to a title screen and forcing me to reload TConstruct_mc1.4.7_1.1.1 if I want to make a new world or get back into that save

I'm in the process of switching internet service providers, so the responses will be slow and sporadic. I also had a lot less free time than usual over the weekend, so I didn't get anything done. I have very little money and I hate to ask, but if anyone would send some spare change my way it would help quite a bit.
After looking at what I have right now, I can say that the system is nearly done. A system without any content is useless though, so I don't have anything to preview just yet. Give me a few days and I'll have plenty to play with.
sirdave79: I do have my own version of the spears laying around. They have extra range and have funny spinny things when you throw them. Battleaxes are on the ticket as well. Rapiers ignore all armor, and I really don't want overlap with that.
Taigore: The battlesign is a joke weapon. Eventually you'll be able to place it for other kinds of signs...
sirdave79: There is no possibility for me to support such an odd system. How about a separate shield slot instead?
andromada369: I already nerfed the speed three times to balance it. If you really want more repair speed, add more moss!
iNVitriol: The only reason the ores made it in is because of a nasty bug and I was done with them. You'll need them soon.
primaryartemis: The damage is stored in a different place due to one item ID only being able to have one damage value. It's a percentage of durability remaining. Not-so-terrible workaround in practice, yeah...
elemenster: You could use the casting table for dye, sure. It's generic enough that it works for any liquid that can make plates or be cast. Blocks will need something else.
Kinouk: Alumite pickaxe. Or cobalt, ardite, manyullyn, a few others...
Ja99edMan: Party was FUN, it lasted FOREVER!
starr274: l is the crash report. The crash reporter was missing, yay! I have no idea what the real problem is or how to fix it.
113820: Thaumium tools, soon. Armor, lots of possibilities, later. Upgraded tinkering table for modifications, including overclocking, also soon.
Yea that post was before I saw the speed of 3 moss upgrades. Though it still would be nice to upgrade it like redstone and lapis that way it doesn't eat up the other two upgrade slots.
As I was on forge 527 before and ExtrabiomesXL-universal-1.4.7-3.7.0i'm checking the TConstruct_mc1.4.7_1.1.5 ore spawn bug? with a MC Backdated to forge 524 only jar
I Replaced the TConstruct_mc1.4.7_1.1.1 with TConstruct_mc1.4.7_1.1.5 in mods created a new large biome world with ExtrabiomesXL-universal-1.4.7-3.10.0 on seed 8769747042764056583
Crafted the tables and patters fine and cut the Tier 1 tool parts all worked fine, then proceded to build a nether portal and enter it where upon the server disconnects and gives out the server closed message with a return to title screen button the spoler below is the relavant sections form my forge mod loader log

three diffrent versions of forge so far in their own instances could be it just that TConstruct_mc1.4.7_1.1.5 needs greater then forge 528 ? or I'm missing something due to limited knoledge with a mod interaction going to keep testing with forge 530 or what ever its on as I backdated thinking that might be it once I get home
Forge and 1.5 are coming along pretty well, so I may wait. I may not; we'll see how long 1.5 actually takes to come out.

starr274: The worldgen written by RebelKeithy appears to be a little buggy. The reason isn't clear; I'll be using regular ore generation in the next version. The only mod I've identified as problematic is Ars Magica, and the algorithm needs some optimization besides.
Can you make it compatible with modloader? I would LOVE to try this, but i can't get forge to work
Short answer: No.
Long answer: ModLoader is very outdated for modern mods. It only has bare-bones compatibility for mods, and the texture index system is almost useless now, and is definitely useless for this mod, which adds hundreds, if not thousands, of textures. Just about everything that uses ModLoader is compatible with Forge. As in, I am not aware of anything base-clean that will work with ModLoader and does not with Forge. ModLoader is built into Forge, so do not install ModLoader AND Forge, install only Forge. If that doesn't work, go to their forums here and post for help.
They've released a thousand snapshots so I don't think it'll be released soon, though I would like to see nether quartz in this mod...
That is an idea that really shouldn't be dismissed. Would it be a base material or a modifier? Would you use the single quartz items or the block? What would its properties be?
Remember, quartz is almost comparable to diamond on the hardness scale.
I had an idea today! For slime-enhanced weapons: potential to disarm zombies holding things. Zombie have an iron sword in hand? Hit him with your slime-crystal enhanced battlesign/frying pan/broadsword!
Love the mod, btw. Can't wait for the armor and bows updates. Keep it up!
The smeltery is now in private alpha testing. It should be public in a day or two.
Blockmaster139: Nether quartz will definitely make its way into TConstruct in one form or another. The most likely candidate is a modifier, or a piece of a modifier. I'm thinking combining it with diamonds will get you a higher mining level... perfect for mining cobalt and ardite.
Starfang42: That's more or less accurate.
AngryPockets: That would be hilarious!
coderorigion: This has come up often enough that I've added it to the FAQ. Short answer: remove the item, NEI's disenchanting is buggy.
i dont mean to sound like an idiot if this has been answered already but how do i mine cobalt and ardite i cant figure out what i need >_<
also what use does tin have? and lastly is there any where i can find what blocks and items will make parts like a wiki or something?
Well did a play through of this mod as is, all I have to say is a rapier with the bone modifier lets you tank everything ever and I love it! Also, I like the idea of tinkers log, but maybe to make it more like thuamcraft (which I have to say has the best system for teaching it's users how to use it) you can make a research table that you put raw materials into, such as a diamond or emerald, and it'll spit out a page of tinkers log about it if there is any relevant information. For instance, put a sword in and it will randomly spit out a page about one of the various sword types in the mod.
Check your Forge Log. It should always contain any crashes that happen at all.

Also, how was the party?

on entering the new chunk

Taigore: When creepers blow up your stuff any responsible Tinker will start to create anti-creeper things.
starr274: The worldgen written by RebelKeithy appears to be a little buggy. The reason isn't clear; I'll be using regular ore generation in the next version. The only mod I've identified as problematic is Ars Magica, and the algorithm needs some optimization besides.
That is an idea that really shouldn't be dismissed. Would it be a base material or a modifier? Would you use the single quartz items or the block? What would its properties be?
Remember, quartz is almost comparable to diamond on the hardness scale.
KBI Enriched Gravel Mod -- sift out nuggets and chunks and make gravel useful! (Outdated)
Tinker's Construct Recovery Addon -- get back some of your half-used tool materials! (Outdated)
Love the mod, btw. Can't wait for the armor and bows updates. Keep it up!
AND YOU SHOULD TOO!
Short answer: remove the item, NEI's disenchanting is buggy.
also what use does tin have? and lastly is there any where i can find what blocks and items will make parts like a wiki or something?
I absolutely refuse to make a wiki for this mod. Any information should be in-game, and if it's not it's going to be in the next few days.
primaryartemis: The Tinker's Log is a diary of sorts. There will be other books that are more informative.
360infenenrsorce: 4090 is not the default. Sounds like auto-resolving issues, change your config file manually.
Blockmaster139: It will probably be something silly like diamond-encrusted gold-plated quartz blocks.
