Spent the last few days playing this map. It's generally a decent, long-running survival map with a few quirks such as the Trials and forcing you to do certain things. I personally enjoyed this map because it was different. Granted, there WERE moments I got frustrated -Wither fight- and there ARE 2 glitches that aren't listed that might want to be looked at. The end portal frame can be completely filled but it won't spawn the actual portal in once filled. (had to cheat and spawn in the End Portal blocks) Also, when you ENTER the Trials, you can glitch and get stuck in the floor. There's no actual fix for it unless you edit it so it spawns a block above it's original location, otherwise it's just an issue with Minecraft-spawn-physics.
I give this map a 9/10 for it's use of force towards the Thaum items, forcing the player to do ALL the things to progress, it stops people from speed running it. I also suggest adding in a way to make the Cactus and Sugarcane growing process not-so-annoying, because I quite literally sat there for about... maybe 2 hours chopping trees and getting cobble, and it only grew one block each. Also, try adding more to the Nether and End, I felt like The End wasn't special at all, and The Nether was kind of baron and useless. Also, using one of the enchantments, and clever plot-spacing in The Nether, it CAN (I'm not saying I did it, but I noticed it) allow the player to wait for a Wither Skeleton to spawn in and slash away at it getting it's skull, instead of doing all the iron>gold>diamond transmutation.

Which enchantment are you refering to? Wither Skeletons are very picky about where they will spawn. They only spawn within certain bounding boxes in certain parts of nether fortresses. It would be a shot in the dark to try and build a spawning pad that happened to be where a fortress would normally spawn. I suppose you could take the seed, make a creative world and fly around for a fortress write down the coords and then do it, but what's the point in all that to farm skulls?
On the rite of fire do u have any idea on how to get 32 glass because so far i only have 1 glass and thats for my cactus farm
You can buy sand from the herbalist for a cactus. The idea is to take the one sand you start with to grow cactus then trade the cactus for more sand to grow your farm, and for glass.
The arcanist will trade you a dull shard for a gold ingot.
Omg this annoys me lol.
My Arcanist is missing the whole top row O_o. I downloaded the world again, and started from scratch, flew to the arcanist, and then found out what I'd been missing.
Damn, that's annoying. I'll go see what else I'm missing..
Nup, that's it, just that top row.
Wierd....
When I loaded the map, everything seemed fine. Then I got to the sky den and there were no npc's and the large majority of the sky den was gone. What do I do?

you should restart the map but it might not work so just reinstall all mods and restart the whole map
so if you downloaded the map there is a customnpcs folder there so delete the one in .minecraft and add a new one from your extracted zip file or wherever you have it for the map
I've gotten a complaint saying that there is a late-game quest that requires teleportation and may be bugged for some players. What determines this I don't know, since the CustomNPCs Transport system is still very finicky. If after you receive the quest "The Four Trials" and talk to Hennepin, he does not transport you even after you ask, here is what you do:
Give yourself an NPC Wand. This can be done through NEI.
Equip the wand and right click Hennepin.
On the tabs at the top, choose "Advanced"
To the right of the box labeled "Transporter" you'll see a button that says "Edit". Click that.
Click "Default" in the center of your screen.
Click on the box that says "default name" and type something in here, like "Home". It doesn't matter what you name it.
Make sure the box below it says "available when discovered". If not, click on that box until it does.
Click back.
Click the X in the upper right to close the NPC edit interface.
Destroy the NPC wand or toss it from the edge.
Right click Hennepin (without the wand equipped) and choose "I'm ready for the trials!"
The transport menu should open up as it was meant to.
Not everyone runs into this bug. But if you do, it only takes about 30 seconds to fix.
ummm I tried that and it still didn't fix the bug can u plse tell me what the cords are so that I can just tp there pleast thank you
I really enjoy this map, and am at the end of the four trials quest, I really enjoyed building my base so here are some pictures of it... as well as links to some of my other builds I did for a server belonging to a member of the Angel Blocks (sorry, I don't know how to put a spoiler clip thing in)
I put all the eye of enders in the end portal and the black portal block thingies didn't show up. Should I just spawn them in or do I have to do something else?
Please Help! I Went to get this map because It looked really fun. When I got to the SkyDen A lot was missing, there was no marble and most of the walls were replaced be red alloy furnaces! When I looked in the chest too, all there was was a block breaker. No screwdriver or timer (Which makes me think a mods not installed, or correctly) I use the FTB launcher with Yogcraft since i don't have 1.4.7 anymore. I'm sure i followed the instructions EXACTLY. Heres some pictures. Thanks!

EDIT: I was testing out what the Descriptive book did, and i kinda broke it, is there a way i can get back?

Yo
you should restart the map but it might not work so just reinstall all mods and restart the whole map
I did that and it fixed it except now all the npc's are white. What can I do to fix it?
did you try deleting the npcs folder and then reloading the npcs textures
How would I go about doing that?
so if you downloaded the map there is a customnpcs folder there so delete the one in .minecraft and add a new one from your extracted zip file or wherever you have it for the map

Please try again step-by-step. It has to work. If "it doesn't work" then you're doing something wrong.
