Savage Realms is awesome! I can only speak for the Main server as that is always where I play. It is fun, very interactive, and growing! The economy is more fair than any other server and the potential is endless when it comes to doing jobs for others or utilizing your PvE Class as a professional service. Great times all around. You can spend hours looting old ghost towns, and days building your own. Spend some time in a big city (300+!) and then retreat or retire to start your own little hamlet. Whatever you enjoy, Savage Realms will fit that niche.

Savage Realms should definitely be the one! They have 4 servers: Raid, RPG, Events, and Main! Each server is unique and very different from other servers. They have classes, events, pvping, questing, and much more! And to add on top of that: It was all coded by just 2 amazing owners!

I think Savage Realms is a great server community. We have 5 servers, Main, Events, RPG, Raid, and Survival Games. All these servers are run a class plugin personally modded by our owners (acidsin and cr0ss). These classes spice up PvP and add a flavor to the servers. I'd have to say...hmm. thedarkage.nl is a pretty nice server. So I'll just go with that, can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

Coming from an avid gamer/minecraft enthusiast,

The entirety of the savage realms experience has been a good one for me.  Its creative, unique classes plug-ins set it apart from any average server, which is custom coded by the two owners who truly care for their server-wide communities.  Phenomenal staff, and a close, friendly, accepting community that is shared amongst each of the servers.  

Owners: Handle themselves and the server in a clean-cut, professional manner.

Staff: Are mature, respectable people who go well out of their way to cater to the server and help in any way, shape, or form.

Players/community: One of the closest that I have experienced throughout my experience with pc gaming.

Servers: Set up well, unique, and a great time!

I definitely think that they deserve a place in your server spot light, I am merely supporting them because they have provide me with many great times, and I feel as though their are many other players out their who would benefit from joining in on the fun. ^.^ Please, give the servers a try if you ever feel the urge to branch out into a new style of minecraft!

Savagerealms: 5 Different servers with 5 different goals

Savage Realms Main- A towny server with an events area where mods+ can run events for players to enjoy. Also has an RPG area where there are over 50 quests for players to conquer. Also contains a pvp world and a build world.

Savage Realms RPG- Similar to main, but smaller and more quest orientated

Savage Realms Raid- Hardcore PvP. Factions, raiding, all out destruction. Every Pvpers dream. Defeat your enemies and make allies to become the ultimate faction.

Savage Realms Events- All out events. The newest of the Savage Realms servers, contains automated events, capture the flag, mob arena, survival games, with golden gun and an event that has not yet been open to public soon to come.

SR-SG: All out survival games. Completely coded by the manager of this server, it brings a unique style to the term survival games. Definitely something to check out.

We aren't "spamming" out of the water accounts. Most of us don't hang out on the minecraft forums, we hang out on our own forums. And btw we all want to make sure our server gets the attention it should get

Savage Realms was the second server I ever reviewed here, and until now, was the last one I ever reviewed.  I think some other servers should get some love first, don't you guys agree?

I also think it is crude the savage realms users are asking for a re-review. Give someone else a chance.

Edit: On second thought, I wouldn't mind seeing a preview of dungeonrealms. That's about it. Reviewing default servers sounds boring.

Okay, most of us SR players have never posted on these forums. That's why we are out of the water. We are all legit different people, just putting our amazing server out there. It looks like spam because there is nobody else posting here! Just showing how much of a big and awesome community we are. Give SR a chance, and you will not regret it!

Come check out the hottest new server. PurpleTurtle (72.200.99.132). We have tons of plugins and we have alot of cool pixel art and friendly staff. The server is 24/7 and is a survival type. We do have PvP area, factions, and you can open up your own shops so there is tons of stuff to always do. We have a max of 50 players and will be increasing that soon.

I love the Savage Realms servers, my favorite being Savage Events(events.savagerealms.net). Along with having an amazing community and a solid upper staff which actually takes care of it's players(not something you see on many servers anymore), it's full of a little bit of something for everyone. PVP, Mob Arenas, Moderator run events like Parkour ladder climb and spleef, even Capture The Flag and Hunger Games! On top of all that amazing stuff there are constant upgrades and new things to try, in fact, a new event is coming up that's kind of like Halo slayer called Golden Gun. I encourage everyone to give it a shot as these servers have something for everyone, no lag, and a thriving community full of fun people!

Hi, I'm DS_Link a chatmod from Savage Realms Main.

I am here to tell you why Savage Realms Main should be a featured server. Savage Realms, also known as SR, is a server run by two people Acidsin and Cr0ssVtW. There are five SR servers, but I feel SR Main is the most important link.

The most prominent reason why Savage Realms Main should be featured is the fantastic staff who help and run the server. Helpers, who are promoted are around to help others who enquire about server related topics, chatmods, as the name suggests moderate the chat, and generally take out a spammer in 5 seconds, and make sure everyone has a comfy time. Moderators and up take on the more serious topics, like gameplay rule breakers, example; hackers, abuse, etc. Without staff, the server would be chaotic and bias.

The next reason why I believe SR Main should be featured is because of the unique plugins that are used on this server. The owners take alot of time out of their day to code new plugins for us to enjoy, the best plugin by far is the Classes plugin. Classes are unique to Savage Realms, you can't find the same plugin anywhere else, or refined to this standard. Classes are categorized into two categories; Player VS Environment and Player VS Player. These classes are then further categorized into Tier 1 and Tier 2 classes. PvP classes are used in PvP environments, they give the player abilities and sometimes passives. Tier 1 classes include Archer and Warrior, these are the low end classes and are generally cheap. Tier 2 classes, although somewhat expensive give the player more abilities to wreck in PvP. PvP classes might also have you wear certain armor or use a certain weapon.

PvE classes are not used in PvP, they range from being able to start auctions, or make your own town. Tier 1 classes include Mayor, Gambler and Prospector, like PvP, these are the cheaper alternatives.It doesn't even end there, new classes are added every month, they are given to donaters as a testing period to fix, and adjust the class for balance. Right now, the owners are working on a new RPG plugin, alot of dedication goes into this server.

My final reason for why Savage Realms should be featured is because of the huge gameplay value. There is tons of things to do, if you aren't the PvPer, you can go to the build world and make a town, which can turn into a huge city! Or maybe, once the RPG world is working again, you can go fight your way through hordes of mobs and take on challenging quests. It doesn't end there, sometimes, Moderators and up host events, These events include; Mob Vs player, a full on battle against tons of mobs, King of the hill, or KOTH for short where you try to stand on a platform for a certain amount of time before you're killed by another player. There's also log jump, a parkour event where you jump from dangerous heights on to platforms of logs.

If you enjoy the server, donations are widely appreciated, Donations help run the server, and they give you cool perks too, from kits to (limited) spawning items.

Don't think you're limited to main, there's four other servers to play on. Savage Raid; Build your own faction, recruit your team, and fight with classes, Savage RPG; A server which focuses more on the retro Savage Realms and RPG, Savage Events: A server which focuses on fun events, or Savage Realms Survival Games; Fight for your survival, dig for items and hunt for meat, be the last one standing, and have kits to give you an advantage.
