so im not finding any kind of deserts or oasis, i noticed you had oasis crossed out? does that mean they dont spawn? the description in the OP is kind of confusing. are deserts also non existent?  just wondering about getting some windows XD does anyone know if silk touch works on glass? maybe thats something to work towards, otherwise ive been having a lot of fun with the mod the past couple of hours.

Try forge instead of Modloader and ModloaderMP, It shortens install for everyone and codes MP and SSP all at once

i downloaded the mod but for some reason i opened up my previous wasteland world and new terrain spawned normally and in new wasteland worlds no ores or underground water spawns

Can I possibly get a version that is comatible with 1.4.6? I am using the Direwolf Pack on Feed The Beast and would like to have the wasteland mod with it.

*Problem*
When i loaded this mod it worked fine the world generated right and there are dead trees but there are no ruins. I even went into creative to look I was looking for over an hour. I'm not saying its a bad mod I' only saying its not spawning ruins.

Yay I like this mod along with other mods but I have some suggestions. More ruins variety because it's somewhat creepy and annoying to see the same ruins 12 times in a row every 30 steps. That being said perhaps burned tree's and ruins being a bit rarer. Oh and another thing for buildings something REEEEEAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYY rare (sorry wanted to get the point across) large ruined cities and blast craters and Military bases. For the cities they should point in a random direction and the side that looks most destroyed has less loot that is hard to find but tends to be better than that of the more intact side. P.S. does this mod work for 1.4.6 (because I'm using other mods that appaerantly can't work together on 1.4.7)

Oh never mind about building rarity I was thinking it would be the same as 1.3.2 but it turns out now buildings are too rare.

Because it's a poorly updated mod. It's unofficial, and he's not exactly sure what he's doing completely. The new scripting he implemented is pretty ridiculous. He broke most of the features of the original mod. So... no ruins, no deserts, no ores, nothing of the original mod hardly. I looked at the coding.. and it's pretty terrible. I'd say to just pass on downloading this unofficial update. It's not really worth getting. I've contacted the original author of this mod and asked him about updating it. I may update this mod myself and have it back to it's original glory.

i dont know what you guys are on about, i find ores and ruins everywhere.... caves seem totally as normal to me. Though i did notice were no ruins with forge (i quickly uninstalled it - could be there were no ores either with forge) you guys using that by any chance?

you are right, i use forge, but modloader does not work? (I may be using a cracked version on a mac)
