Have Java completely downloaded and current
Bought the full version
Downloaded the launcher and after trying to login it says right next to the login box that it is "not downloaded'
Havent really seen anything on google with the same problem

Brand new laptop so unless somethings wrong with it out of the box then its untouched
Tried disabling windows firewall for a second and force an update
Tried uninstall and reinstall
Nothing in the minecraft folder all i have is the Launcher Link.

Could you post a screenshot of the error that you are getting? btw I won't be able to post an update on your forum for until 8:45 PM today due to a post restriction, but I will try to edit my original post to help you out if no one else does.
