I can't wait to make an audo chicken farm with the Hopper

EDIT: I also can't wait for the weighted preasure plates, or the BUD switch (Altho I wish they kept the old BUD switch instead, less people knew about it so I could make really good traps) Also, I could make a compleatly audo melon/Pumkin farm with the new stuff, I think. Oh yeah, im so glad Mojang did something in the suggestions by making Redstone Blocks

It sure is a cool snapshot, but I can't wait to see the full extent of 1.5. A lot more potential lies within the redstone mechanics!

Hmm, Hopper+Mob spawner=auto collector
and Redstone Block+Pistons=Rube Goldberg Minecraft
as well as lightsencer+pistons=automatic doors/drawbridge
This was 1 GREAT snapshot for us redstone lovers!

Wow, just wait until the next snapshot maybe they'll add stuff similar to the quarries in tekkit and you could have the hoppers transport the mined blocks into a chest

I love this snapshot, and most everything looks epic, but am I the only one slightly disappointed in the redstone blocks? I'm not talking about the texture or anything, because I think it looks pretty cool, but if it's really only a push-able redstone torch, I don't see much potential for it. I was personally hoping for it to act like redstone wire, so you could make vertical circuits without the torch delay, and condensed lamp set-up:

Now you only need to power one of the blocks to light all the lamps. Just a suggestion.

I love this snapshot because it kinda focuses more on redstone in which I like, even though I'm not that experienced with redstone.

I'l be honest, I really dislike the redstone block. I think it never should have been made.
Apart from that, the redstone update is a blast.

I'm really looking forward to the release of these items and can't wait until I can start building machines with these blocks although I'm worried about over complicating minecraft...

As a person that has Asperger's Syndrome and loves Minecraft, I'm so glad that because of Minecraft people who are younger than me are getting a lot of help via Minecraft. And seeing that the parent is helping alongside with Minecraft is inspiring. Social interaction is hard for us and starts when we first enter a social environment like schools. For the past some-odd 15 years, I had the same difficulty as that kid is having, but I'm managing very well in getting better with interacting with others. Using Minecraft as a tool to assist in learning and social aid is wonderful! I hope people in more education departments will see that this video game / PC game has more potential to do good. I wish Minecraft would of come much earlier so I could of gotten this kind of help.

Oh yeah, the Snapshot looks pretty cool as well! Can't wait to see what else gets added to it.

Um... as a server owner, I'm STILL waiting for the plugin API which Mojang keeps promising (it'll be out next patch) but never is.  Sighs... this is just gonna break the server again.....
