NEW PHYREXIA   (1-4 Players)

A Collection of PvP minigames, incorporating MOBs to make them singleplayer compatible and more challenging.

For Minecraft 1.4.6+


Currently available arenas/minigames:

Push The Button!

Spoiler:

Including a life counter visible from almost every point in the arena.

This is the button to win

Including custom spawners for extra annoyancefun

Race to the gold block in the middle of the arena to push the button and receive XP.
Every player gets 5 lives, the player with the most XP wins.

Falling for You

At the point of writing this, i was only able to test the singleplayer functionality properly. I would appreciate some feedback from players who played this minigame in 3 or 4 player mode.


Players get a bow with Punch, Infinity and Flame to better be able to track their shots, hits and misses. The coloured aiming guide on the opposite wall should help players as well, indicating the difficulty of landing a shot via colour coding.

Don't move and don't get hit, or you'll get no points and die in the Void.

Try to shoot your opponent(s) during free fall. Don't move or get hit or else you don't get points.
First player to reach 15 Points wins.
Singleplayer mode only goes to 13 points max.

Everyone may feel free to use any of my constructions for any purpose, as long as you mention my name in your creation.


"New Phyrexia" is a name i randomly chose for this project. This map has (so far) nothing to do with Magic: the Gathering or Wizards of the Coast and it has never been a plane entirely made out of metal.

Update 1.1:

• Renamed "Race for Diamond" to "Push the Button!"
  
• "Push the Button!" now works based on players' XP level.
  
• The game detects and tells you who won.

Still need feedback how well multiplayer works. I can test the basics with a second MC account on a second PC, but i cannot test the gameplay by myself.
Constructive criticism is still appreciated.

• Fixed spawn Area for multiplayer.

Update 1.2.1

• Added "Falling for You" (multiplayer not yet fully tested)
  
• Slight optical changes to "Push the Button", including more optimal lighting and a little bit safer player starting points for players
  
• PtB arena now darker on the ground, spawning slightly more MOBs
  
• Changed the Iron bars leading to the Button in the PtB arena to slabs for less frustration

Will update screenshots with next Version update.
