I have recently found an X-rayer on my survival server. He has collected many diamonds and other minerals, and I would like to find a way to stop it. He is partnered up with other people, but they don't know that he has X-rayed. If I banned him his partners would not only be mad, but they would still have the diamonds. If then I take the diamonds away from them, they would get even angrier and leave (which I don't want.). If anyone could help I would be very grateful.

I can (and have done that)...but then they would still have the diamonds, if i took those away they would they would get mad and/or think it was unfair...as they didn't know that he was X-raying.

Try to rollback or restart the world. All the diamonds will be in place but they won't have it anymore. Of course this may cause hate on you.

Tell his partners he was an x-rayer. Ban him. Show no mercy on him. Take away their diamonds.

Get an ore obfuscation plugin, and warn him. Maybe even take some diamonds.
