:) Advanced Pig Riding  :|:

Riding pigs is something special about Minecraft. Where else can you do it? Not in World of Warcraft, thats for sure! When you find that saddle in the dungon, it is imposible to resit putting it on a pig! How can this possibly get any better? Well, what if you could feed your pig, ride him all around your world, and even make him fly? I'm getting a little ahead of myself here. Lets start from the beginning...

:|: Apples and Apple Trees  :Pig:

Apples. What pig doesn't like them? Apples would be the food for your loving pig friends. If dropped on the ground, or held in the hand, a pig would happily trot towards you and attempt to eat it. The more apples pigs eat, the fatter they would become. Fat pigs would drop more porckcop, but who would want to kill you pig friend? Fatter pigs would walk slower, but they would loose weight after exersizing a little. But wait. How would one get such delicous treats? By hitting leaves in trees of course. When trees in forests or similar biomes spawn they have a cance of being an apple tree. Regular saplings would not become apple trees, but if you plant a sapling and right click on it with an apple, it will grow to become an apple tree. Nature is amazing, don't you think?

:Pig: Upgrades for Fishing Pole  :Pig:

Now that you have an apple, and can make your pigs walk towards it, can't you drive the pig you saddled up? The answer is yes, but that would use a lot of apples! Wouldn't it be easier to just dangle an apple in front of its face to make it walk towards it endlessly? Thats the truth, and it will be possible with an upgraded fishing pole. With this upgrade, a fishing pole will be able to hook dropped items, and dangle them in front of you. The controls would be simple. Just right click to fire of the hook like normal. If the hook catches an item it will come back to you and dangle. Then simply right click again to make the item drop. If you get an apple at the end of your line, it will become a lure that a pig will follow. You can use this to steer (since the apple will always be in front of you). Getting over hills would also be a snap, becuase since the apple would be in the air the pig would try to jump to get it. With this fishing pole, you would be able to control your pigs at will!

:Pig: Flying Pigs  :Pig:

With the stuff I have just mentioned, pig riding would be revolusionized in Minecraft. But wait, didn't I promish one more thing? If a normal apple would be able to be eaten, then would a golden apple be able to be eaten by pigs, too? If so how epic would its effect have to be on my pig to be worth 8 gold blocks? Two words answer that: FLYING PIGS! Thats right, if a pig consumes a golden apple he would take flight, and sprout wings! Oh, and that is were it just begins... What if you were to put a saddle on such an enchanted creature and try to ride it? Yes, it is finally time for your Minecraft character to take to the sky! Have fun on your mount, and travel like noone has done before! Every time it tries to jump it goes higher, until it reaches a certain point determined by the ground hieght, the weight of your pig, and the maximume hieght of your world.

:Pig: Multiplayer Fun  :Pig:

With all this stuff there has to be some awesome things you can do. How about riding into battle on the back of a pig? The way this would work, is if you deselected you fishing pole while it has an items on the end, it would drop. Your pig would then walk towards it and spend a while eating giving you enough time to pull out your weapon and fire away at your foes. Then you would just throw down anougher apple, and hook  it with your fishing pole to beging your journy again!

I see 3 problems with OP.

1. The post is too disorganized (I think we pointed that out already)
2. Pigs despawn so you'd waste 72  :) on a pig that'll despawn when you close the game
3. Pigs aren't really an improvement, they're actually slower than the player and who would want to waste time trying to control a pig with a pole that only has 33 uses.

A little paragraph re-structuring can go a long way. (This was for everyone who couldn't stand looking at a giant block of text.)

As far as the apple tree bit goes, however... I don't know. I just think apple trees should be a vanity item. They have no use really... And a golden apple even more so.

Sorry, I used indenting, but the forum just canceals it out, so its not my fault. I tryed not to be to orginized to be an indifferent forum post.

Pigs that have a saddle or eat any food don't despawn. I didn't bother to write that becuase to me it was as clear as day they wouldn't.
