I've just joined Curse today, and of course the first thing I need is a minecraft seed. I want a seed that has both a tundra biome and a village. Some people get this confused, so a tundra is the snow biome with almost no trees and sometimes has mountains(not the one with loads of trees in it that's a taiga).I also want coordinates for the village. Please help,  I've looked everywhere and can't find the right seed!

Thanks in advance

Villages only spawn in flat lands or desert at the moment so one of those should be next to a tundra biome to be a bit like you want (assuming you want the village in the tundra biome)

Yeah, as the above poster said, it's not possible to have a village in a snow biome of any sort. Villages are only in plains and desert.

You've got three options if you absolutely want a snow village.

1. Build it yourself from scratch, and then spawn two villagers to populate it.

2. Find a nice plains or desert village in any seed, and then edit it using MCEdit or something to make it a snow biome.

3. Download a mod that allows villages to generate in other biomes.

I guess you misunderstood. I meant a seed that had both a tundra biome and a village in the same world.
Not a village inside a tundra biome

Just find a tundra seed, villages tend to be somewhere in the many blocks of the Minecraft world.
I'm just a Minecraft player that likes to give my opinion. Nothing special to see here.

Unfortunately, I dont have near enough patience to search a massive area for a village. So please, a seed.

Oh, believe me I looked. But it looks like no one has the seed im looking for.

I used to have one, but then minecraft screwed up and deleted all my worlds, and the seed I had was a terribly old one, so it doesnt work anymore.

Use admidst. It can be used to find villages. strong holds. witch huts. desert temples and i think nether strongholds if you have been to the nether.

I actually meant you could've found one by continuously generating new worlds. How do you think people find the seeds that get posted here?

Oh. Ive tried that tons of times, and I get angry with the game real easily. I'll keep looking, but i would still like a seed to save myself the frustration.

Unfortunately for you, NPC villages currently only generate in Plains biomes and Desert biomes. Mojang might edit the coding a bit for them to generate in another biome in a future update.

If you want a seed that includes a Tundra biome and an NPC village but not neccessarily both in the same location, I haven't found one.

This one includes a Desert Dungeon missing it's stone roof:

Seed: -7873423133518942795

The Dungeon is located at:
X: 23
Y: 64
Z: -9

Obviously not reading the entire thread. We thought the same thing, but the OP verified that they wanted a village -near- a tundra.

I believe you will find seed -6932996467154215217 may have what you are looking for.  I cannot take credit for this seed, I came across it in these forums.

I think I found the exact seed you're looking for. I came across it in the forums when looking for a village seed. The seed is "MINE DAT CRAP" without quotes. You spawn next to a ravine that's partially covered and has a lavafall and two waterfalls. The ravine is right in between a plains biome and a tudra biome. The tundra biome has a frozen river, some mountains, and a couple of trees. Right at the beginning of the plains biome is a village. Blacksmith has a ton of bread, some saplings, and 4 iron. There's also a church, two butchers, and two libraries. There's both potatoes and carrots in the farms. Everthing you want is literally right there at the spawn, you can see it all from the spawn point.

Have fun!
