Say something?
I just give them a 10 minute long hug every time.

Thinking of adding to the poll list...
- Hai
- Heya
- Hiya
- Yo
- *Hug*

You should put another option in the poll saying "Other", and choosing more than one option.
Normally, to my family and relatives I say "asalamalakum", which in Arabic means "Peace be upon you.." which is the way to say hi in Arabic, if you are Muslim that is.
But to my relatives sometimes, and my friends always that are American I obviously say "Hey".

For friends and some family, it's "Hey, what's up?"
For the rest of the family and stranges, "Hey".

I say hello if I don't know/don't like the person I am greeting, hi IRL to my friends, and either sup or hi in some sort of text-based conversation with my friends.

(Whitelisted :P)
