It can be seen in many things when in italic.Yes in italic can make emphasis, but Bold make more sense for emphasis.

Just got back from gamestop. We were looking for a memory card so we could download Halo 4 multiplayer, and ended up getting an entirely new hard drive instead. O-O

I'll stick with my italics for emphasis.  I don't use bold all that often unless it's to highlight something someone else said or to make my justfornarwals just that more annoying.

Well not entirely.  Some things only work on a hard drive.

Talking of which, SSD hard drive makes good startup for windows and such.
